Not very sutable for childern.
I had purchased a Joykey drone for a grandchild that was perfect, easy to operate, and safe. It is no longer available. I bought the next recommended one for a different child and was immediately disappointed. The battery connection is microscopic requiring an adult and the drone itself was off-balanced constantly sliding to the right. Worse, the propellers are exposed and easily accessible to little fingers. It works, and the lights are nice, but that hardly makes up for the other deficiencies.

DOESNT WORK!!!
Bought this less than a week ago and used it 3 times and now it doesnât work! Got it for my sister as a gift and was totally disappointed! Charged the batteries and everything! It just completely stopped working after the 3rd time in less than a week! Doesnât turn on or anything. Would NOT recommend.

It was difficult to start
Okay I want to get really give an honest review of this toy especially since people are looking for some fun options for Christmas gifts for kids. I have two boys that are seven and nine now and my oldest for his birthday wanted a RC Drone. In the past, we have tried a helicopter drone which was a bit too complicated for him. This toy was very small and inexpensive for him to give a go so we got it for him. He was super excited when he got it and we immediately charged the two batteries. One battery was located inside the copter but not plugged in. This set included the remote control as well as a USB charger and replacement plastic blades. It would have been nice to have some sort of case, however I’m guessing they don’t expect this to last long enough for one LOL.We followed the instructions, however had a terrible time trying to get the remote to communicate with the copter. In addition the instructions were unclear on the startup process. We would try holding down the power button and would hear a clicking noise which I thought maybe was the throttle but to be honest was unsure. We even opened up the controller as the copter seem to be functioning as expected. After about 20 minutes of fiddling with the toy we finally got it to connect. Once that happened, we took it outside and were able to play around with the device. The control response time is a bit slow as we tried the 360 and we tried flying sideways which didn’t quite work as expected or at least as fast. The device is very small and surprisingly sturdy for how petite and plastic it is. However, I am so glad that in the end this worked in this far is still working as my kiddo loves it and was able to operate it himself without much help and is still working after enduring quite a bit of harder Landings. I really wanted to give this a higher review except the road bumps in the beginning with getting it to start and connect were really hard and almost made us give up.

Safety for young child
Lots of fun. After you figure out how to operate. Instructions are a challenge to follow. Constructed in a way not an injury small fingers. Safe for 7yr old. I like the fact recommended for indoor use. Flight time approx 15-20minutes. Child can control safely independently.

Great fun for kids and very beginners
I recently bought mini drones for my kids and it was a fantastic experience! This drone comes with turn indicators and multiple lighting modes, making it easy to track in low-light conditions.
