Really Good Buds
I’m genuinely pleased with these Monster earbuds. The positive experience starts with the packaging, which looks and feels high-end, and follows through to the uniquely designed, light, attractive, and overall well-executed charging case. It rotates to open; how cool is that? The earbuds fit and lock right in magnetically, and are easy to place and remove, powering off when placed, and powering back on when removed. The buds themselves are small and good-looking, and fit comfortably, yet securely, with 3 earpiece sizes to customize the fit to the user’s ears. Pairing and connection are easy, and are automatic with the last paired device, with the whole process (powering on, pairing with each other, and connecting to the audio source) commencing quickly with the removal of the earbuds from the charging case. In other words, you’re ready to rock by the time you have them fitted, and yes; they do rock. The only drawback to me is in that the designers’ choices regarding which combinations of taps and presses are assigned to which functions feel a bit clunky, and may take a little getting used to.Sound quality is well-rounded and, honestly, quite good overall. Now I’ve read complaints about the bass response (and please forgive my wordy response to this), but while accepting that this can be very subjective, I have to say that I have no real problem with the bass myself. The overall sound is NOT bass-forward; that is, unmodified sound does not blast bass from the get-go. Rather it’s quite nicely balanced. Additionally, the units ARE capable of producing significant bass, provided that your source device and track can provide it. Plain and simple, not all tracks have prodigious basslines, and not all devices drive that much bass. When bass is called for, however, these earbuds CAN and DO answer, with aplomb. Give Skream’s “Blipstream” a try, or crank the bass on Method Man’s “4:20” and you’ll see what I mean. As previously mentioned, the overall sound is nicely balanced, with no particular frequencies overpowering any others. The highs are crisp and pleasant, and the mids, clear, and voices, even deep ones, are rich and unmuffled.Overall Impression: I like these earbuds! These provide a compelling combination of looks, feel, practicality and – to me, most importantly – sound. They fit comfortably and securely and a balance of sound that’s more akin to that of studio monitors. I definitely recommend these earbuds.

Pretty good! Cylindrical case is kinda cool, but generally annoying
I’ve been looking for some comfortable, inexpensive, earbuds to wear while sleeping so I can settle my mind and block out the sound of my neighbor’s barking dogs in the morning. I tried out 5 highly rated pairs and compared them to the 3 I have already owned (but wasn’t satisfied with their evening comfort). The 3 old ones came out on top, unfortunately. They are ranked below with some quick notes:Recommended (in this rank):KT1 Q25BB – strong bass, solid. Loops around ear. case has digital readoutTRANYA T10 – boosted bass, loud. fall out easily. case hinge broken. case has 4 lightsTAGRY X18 – little tinny. case has digital readoutMonster Clarity 101 – little tinny. cylindrical case with 4 lights. will roll. points for styleSoundPEATS Free2 classic – somewhat quieter/tinnier/muddled vocals.Honorable Mention:YOUJI 750-B – sound great if you create an ear canal seal by closing off your ears around them, but that’s ridiculous… so it sounds like old felt-covered walkman headphones (not in a good way). Buttons did not work at all. Real shame, I hope Youji changes their design and improves the quality control for the buttons. Case has a digital readout (and no that’s not a front speaker on it, it’s just a decoration).Would Not Recommend Ever:UBPV P5 – tinny, weak midKinganda Q82 – *bad* sounds like you’re listening through the wall

Great sound! Nice earbuds!
I wanted a small pair of earbuds for working in the yard and I found these at a great price. I like the case the earbuds come in. Itâs very rugged and large enough that it wonât get easily lost but light enough to go into your pocket. They are very comfortable after I had to switch to smaller ear tips. The bass duality is really nice but whatâs nice is that with podcasts it doesnât add too much bass to the voice. Theyâre very loud so you can leave the volume low. The battery life is really long, Iâve been using them for a week straight and havenât charged the case yet at all. The touch controls take a bit to get used to but arenât too bad once you learn them.

So so
I have a hard time with earbuds fitting in my ears. These do fit. The only other ones I have found a fit are the tozo mini. I love the tozo but the tapping part of it never works. Unless you adjust it in your ear and you don’t want it to do anything. What I dislike about these is when they are in your ear you can see the light circling the outside of the earbud. It’s very noticeable. So if you’re trying to be discreet, you can’t be. Like when you’re at work and you’re not supposed to have them in. I took a black paint marker and colored over that part of it. So that works for me. The sound is okay. It’s not noise canceling but it’s good

Iâve been using these earbuds for a couple weeks now and I have to say Iâm quite pleased. I misplaced my Monster Victories one day and decided to give these bad boys a go. The airlinks are way better. Years ago I owned a pair of Sennheiser cx bts semi-wirelss earbuds and the experience is very close at almost the same price range. I spent $50ish more on the Sennheiser and they were only slightly better in terms of quality, so these are REALLY good at the current price. The main difference would be microphone quality rather than sound.I listen to music on a regular basis, so I care about sound quality. The earbuds provide a very pleasurable listening experience, block out a significant amount of noise (I wonât hear a truck coming until its practically right next to me and see it at the corner of my eye or a slight turn of the head, and even then its faint. I listen at about 50% volume on avg + wind from riding board at 30km/hr⦠so pay close attention to the streets and be safe when crossing). Plus, they fit VERY SNUG and tight in the ear. This is probably the best fit Iâve experienced. As a result, I pretty much have to take one out to have a conversation, like when ordering food, pausing the music isnât enough. They are relatively easy to use, though it may take some practice to get used to the accuracy and time interval for double tapping to use volume controls, as you WILL accidentally pause the music every now and then (single tap). They case is beautiful and high quality. The earbuds look pretty good too.In terms of improvement, the microphone signal is to weak to use for voice calls on a regular basis. A quick chat in a quiet environment is okay, but otherwise I would not rely on these for calling. You can hear perfectly fine, but your conversation partner doesnât hear you clearly. Your voice comes in at a low and inconsistent level. I would be willing to pay more to have a stronger, more reliable microphone on this pair. Then these would be more versatile, and practically perfect. I already have a designated Mpow headset for voice and video calls, so it doesnât bother me too much.Connectivity is very simple, you do not have to manually turn them on and off. They turn on and connect when you remove them from the case, off when you put them back. Just donât touch the flat surface again when they are in and charging. The monster manual doesnât tell you how to manually turn them on and off, or reset the connectivity (if you want to unpair them and use them as two separate bluetooth devices or repair them to each other), but it can be done by holding them for a long time for power, and even longer for connectivity reset. In general, Iâm very satisfied! I was bummed out when I lost my monster victories but now Iâm glad they are gone because these have better sound, are truly wireless, and last way longer in terms of battery due to the charging case.If the mic were stronger Iâd give 5 stars. My actual rating is 4.5.
