Great birthday present
If your kids like marbles and science, this is a great gift to give. The pieces attach to the magnetic wall (I got one online since our fridge is not magnetic). Itâs easy to play with, fun and great for young learning minds. Great quality

Great fun!
Bought this for my grandkids. Grandpa and grandkids had a blast designing the paths. We are fortunate to have a metal surface other than the kitchen appliances to use this with.

Magnates could be stronger
Product is as advertised. Magnets could be stronger for some of the features that drop the marble. I have this mounted on my fridge and when they drop it moves the piece its dropping onto. It moves this only slightly but after enough times the piece is out of alignment.

You really have to read all of the literature to put together successfully
If you think this is like putting Legos together you would be wrong. You have to think in a different way and read the literature and look at the diagrams to use this. I worked with my 7 year old grandson for about three hours on Christmas Day putting together different marble runs on the magnetic board with him. I was afraid that without adult supervision he may never play with it alone. The good news is that he is playing with it on his own now and has mastered thinking like an engineer. So for what the set is trying to accomplish it works. However, I was disappointed how fragile the marble tracks are for the runs.

Great gift!
Bought this for my grandsonâs birthday – he LOVED it! Played for over 2 hours the first time. Really taught him how to look ahead at what was coming. Very easy to use and parts were all there and sturdy!

Cool but difficult and time consuming
This marble run is really cool and fun when it’s put together. Now putting it together is another story. It’s not impossible by any means, but it’s time consuming and difficult for anyone under about 10-12 years old. Because it’s magnetic, about the only place to even play with it is on the refrigerator door, and since people are constantly walking by and opening the fridge, the pieces get bumped and moved around out of place. Also, the marbles fall out a lot and have left small indentions in our wood floor. So now it just sits in the box. For the money, I would not buy this again.

Archimedes would be jealous!
These are big fun for kids. Slap them on any ferrous metal surface (fridge, turned-over metal table, ’57 Chevy) and let the fun begin! It’s fun watching these Rube Goldberg contraptions come together and play out, watching kids trying to figure out if they’ve put in enough incline –or too much!–, and just generally goofing around with basic mechanics and physics.Great learning tool and toy.

Very cool stuff
All of mine 2, 8, 14 years old children were interested and liked to play with this.

My son (11) still loves his marble runs and connects all sorts of sets on a giant magnetic board and makes them all work together on the wall, to the floor and everywhere in between. These ones are a bit more challenging and delicate than your average marble run, perfect for older kids or more experienced marble run creators of any age to expand on their builds. No complaints.

My son is 9 years old and we bought him this for Christmas. This has to be the best present I bought for anyone. We have all had so much fun with it, the creativity to work out new runs learning to do small adjustments to make it work, it’s been brilliant. We struggled getting the hang of the Catapult but that’s just us, only downside is not being able to buy add ons. I wish I’d bought the bigger set but well will just have to get that next.Highly recommend this. Also we have used an old wipeboard rather than the fridge which has been perfect especially as we can move it around

Get this. This is an absolute brilliant gift for a child. Our daughter has spent endless hours playing with this. Even my husband and I enjoy it. I think the only thing to watch for is that you really need to block the bottom of your refrigerator (if that’s where you’re attaching it) so that the marbles don’t land and roll underneath it. Also ~ I would advise you to check to make sure the magnets don’t scratch your stainless steel as the kids will move them around quite a bit. We had no issues with this. Just such a fun gift. I wish there were extension packs!
