Excellent Amazon purchase!
I am very happy with my new flameless window candles! They arrived extremely well packaged and were in perfect condition, the included batteries were an extra bonus. The candles were simple to assemble, just screw off the bottom of the candle and insert the batteries. The remote control feature is handy and the timer option is perfect if you donât want to go around and turn off the candles individually. I ordered candles with the wreath and bell option and was surprised to actually hear faint bell jingling sounds as I was putting the wreaths together, adorable! The candles give off a lot of light and look nice from the road, I might even dim them down a bit because they really do throw off a lot of light. I sent a different set to my daughter before finding these and there is a big difference in quality and brightness, these are soooo much better, the candles are more realistic looking, I wish that I found them earlier! I am thrilled with this purchase! I originally ordered 2 sets and will buy more, they are now on sale, hurry up and get yours before the holidayâ¦.they are so pretty, I might leave mine up all year! Highly recommended.

Finally candles that are the right color like back in the day!
They donât seem like much when you take them out of the box but theyâre great! They are very lightweight and its true that the bases are a bit flimsy, if you really need to just tape them. I only did tape on the ones in the windows that my dog brushes past. I bought these hoping for that old school warm white bulb color because I do not like the typical LED white color that everything has lately and theyâre perfect!!! They are beautiful in the windows inside and out and bright enough to see from the road! They flicker lightly like a really candle – Im so happy with them!! If they were a tad more sturdy it would be a solid 5 star but also I canât take off a whole star just for that reason either.

Improvement over previous plug-in approach
These battery operated window candles were an improvement over the 120 V plug-in variety in several ways. First, there are no extension cords to deal with. Second, there are great control features for on-off, brightness, 24 hour timer, etc. Third, they are more attractive. With our 30 year old plug-ins the only way we could do on-off was by screwing/unscrewing or plugging/unplugging; we had to be home and remember to do it.Need to say a few words about mounting in the window. These candles come with some great options — removable bases and a suction cup clip. Every house has different windows, so it is good to have options. In our case, our window handles interfered with the plastic bases on the previous plug-in candles, leading to an awkward arrangement indeed. Here were were able to not use the optional bases, but rather simply tuck the candles behind the window handles with a bit of spacer for support. The suction clips fit perfectly with this arrangement, but were not needed. Overall this was much more attractive, and the flicker feature made it more so.Now for the quality issue. One candle, call it #6, was inoperative out of the box. A second, call it #5, was intermittent out of the box. I placed a long pencil with an eraser into the battery compartment so as to clean up the positive contact within. That seemed to improve the situation. But, as days passed, #5 was proving unreliable. Sometimes it would turn on or off unexpectedly, but I was able to keep it going. I decided after 3 weeks to buy a second pack of 6. All 6 of these seemed OK out of the box. So, in 2 boxes of 6 I now have 10 that seem OK, 1 intermittent out of the box, and 1 inoperative.Last, the longevity issue. I sure hope that we can get through the holidays with just one set of batteries at 4 hours per day. Time will tell. At 3 weeks they are still going on the first set of batteries at 4 hours per day. Just 3 more days until the New Year. And then, will these last the 30 years that our previous plug-in candles lasted? Time will tell. If the quality issue is strictly an infant mortality issue the remaining 10 might be good for a long time.

Love These Candles!
My 30 year old decorative, corded candles finally bit the dust and I needed something new. So I decided to go the easy route and get these candles that come with suction cups, a remote, batteries and some decorative wreaths. The candles were packaged well when they arrived and all I had to do was put the included batteries into the candles to get them turned on. Easy peazy. I then put them onto my windows for display with the included suction cups and they looked really nice. A few hours later I touched the lighted part of the candle to see if it was hot and it wasn’t even warm. That was a nice change from the heated night light bulbs that I had been using on my old candles! I also fiddled with the remote and was able to turn the candles on and off with no problem. I then used the timer on the remote to program the candles to turn on and off at a certain time. Needless to say I was quite impressed that all the candles turned off when I wanted them to and then came back on the next day at the time I had programmed. Anyway, I really like that these candles are so easy to use, don’t require extension cords and love how they look from the outside. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last, but for now, I am very happy with this purchase!

Finally a battery candle thatâs bright!
I was seriously expecting to have to send these back because Iâve tried a lot of different battery window candles in the past and none were bright enough to work. These are so perfect! The battery works well(all included by the way) and the remote is wonderful to set up on a timer. I am beyond impressed and now I can quit looking for candles!

Great potential..
Was so excited to open these and get three loaded with batteries and hung in a window. The remote worked great! Then I had one that didnât work with batteries and another that the flame broke off. So will be returning.
