Glutathione is a small peptide molecule composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. It is produced by every cell of the body, with especially high levels in the liver. Glutathione is critical for healthy immune system function and is necessary for proper detoxification processes. It also plays a critical role in maintaining cellular health by directly neutralizing free radicals, as well as by maintaining the activity of vitamins C and E. Milk thistle extract and alpha lipoic acid are included as complementary ingredients. Natural color variation may occur in this product.

An Invigorating Duo: Glutathione and Milk Thistle Blend
I incorporated a Glutathione supplement with Milk Thistle into my wellness routine many years ago, and I’ve been genuinely pleased with the experience. While I am cautious not to make any direct medical claims, here’s a breakdown of my personal experience:1. **Consistency & Packaging:** The product arrived in a well-sealed package, ensuring freshness and integrity. The capsules are of a consistent size and are easy to handle.2. **Taste & Swallowing:** One of the things that stood out for me was the neutral taste. Unlike some supplements that can be off-putting, these capsules are easy to swallow without any lingering aftertaste.3. **Complementary Ingredients:** The combination of Glutathione and Milk Thistle feels thoughtfully curated. While Glutathione is often hailed for its antioxidant properties, Milk Thistle is traditionally known to support liver health. Together, they form a duo that feels comprehensive and balanced.4. **General Well-being:** Since starting the supplement, I’ve noticed a subtle yet positive shift in my overall energy levels and mood. It’s as if my body appreciates the added support.5. **Value:** In terms of cost-effectiveness, I feel the product offers good value. Given the quality of ingredients and the potential benefits of both Glutathione and Milk Thistle, it seems like a worthy addition to one’s wellness arsenal.6. **Recommendation:** For anyone looking to explore a new supplement with a blend of ingredients that have historical and traditional significance, this Glutathione with Milk Thistle product is worth considering. In conclusion, while individual experiences may vary, I’ve been satisfied with my journey with this product so far. As always, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional before adding any new supplement to your regimen.

    I think its good lol
I bought the product specifically to lighten scars but at this point I’m invested to whiten my whole body lol for science. After one bottle down (finished under a month because I take 3 a day) I haven’t noticed significant skin lightening but my nails are glorious 👌 finger nails and toe nails looking very healthy, my skin overall seems more hydrated but I wouldn’t say I’m lighter yet. Sometimes I need to poop soon after taking this lolI have purchased another bottle and will continue to take this to see when my skin begins to lighten. For reference I’m native American so I have light medium skin, but my overall complexion is closer to that of someone of hispanic descent. Meaning my face and hands are more pale than my body itself. And my overall skintone is more olive with yellow undertones.Edit (Aug 30)I’m just about done with my 2nd bottle and I have seen some more benefits. On my big toes I had these small dark calluses from my toes rubbing against my shoes, they’re going away and the skin is beginning to be more uniform. My skin overall is more even and less dull, I wouldn’t say less pigmented, but brighter. I’m waiting until someone comments on how much paler I look lol I will continue to take it and order a 3rd bottleEdit (Feb 11 2023)After 5 bottles, and an increase to taking 6 pills a day (2 pills 3x daily), I feel confident to say that this product is really only benefited my nails and hair. I’m 25 and in good health to begin with so I can’t say if glutathione really impacts health in a positive way for someone who’s already in good condition lolI did give a bottle to an older coworker of mine out of curiosity to see if his age (45ish) would be a factor in actually feeling some kind of positive change. He did note that he felt more energetic and was able to sleep better. He also claimed it brightened up his complexion (he’s naturally a deeper brown toned shade and claimed that after finishing the bottle he noticed his skin wasn’t as dull). And keep in mind I did ask what his skincare routine is like and this man only washes with a bar soap and doesn’t moisturize. As for myself and my own experiment to see if taking large doses of this would dramatically reduce my melanin output. I can officially say it only contributed to minor skin lightening. My acne scars did not improve as much as I was anticipating. My lips did get a but pinker as the corners (naturally a little darker on me) did lighten up a tad bit, but nothing on the level of what Accutane did for me. Accutane made my lips very pink and even in color as my skin turnover was sped up.My sometimes ashy elbows were able to almost become the same shade as the rest of arms, but I did also incorporate AHA lotions to them so I can’t say if the glutathione is to get all the credit. My junk downstairs did not change in color lol everyone has naturally darker private areas (I guess besides people with little to no melanin 🤔 as their junk would be more redish brown)So if your intention was to take this product to make you’re darker areas “even out” and be more aesthetically even toned and beautiful, it doesn’t happen to the level that you’re hoping 😆Itll be minor shift in the direction you wanna go. But the price will eventually add up and I don’t see it as worth it.In conclusion, it’s good for hair and nails. Delivers a 2/10 change in skin lightening. Delivers a 7/10 change in overall skin appearance (by that I mean my skin just looks smoother, less fine lines, and maybe it holds on to more moisture)

The rare supplement that appears to have made a significant difference in my quality of life
Because I work with a large patient population throughout the year, I usually get sick with at least one aggressive cold each year. After reading a published peer reviewed study demonstrating bioavailability of reduced glutathione, I decided about two years ago to switch from relatively expensive “special” formulations (touting improved bioavailability, and subsequently, greater health benefits–even to the extent of asserting reduced glutathione lacks efficacy, contrary to published biomedical data) to simple reduced glutathione, and over the same time period, in the midst of one of our region’s worst flu seasons, have remained free of all flu/cold symptoms, despite not changing anything else in my life. No, it’s not a cause-effect study, but the association is still very noteworthy to me. This product is one of the only supplements I’ve ever bought–and one of the most affordable, at that–to have ever been associated with any health improvements while I’ve taken it. I’ve pulled many all-nighters while racing against the clock to make our publication deadlines, and battled my fair share of stress and exposure to infectious individuals. And, knock on wood, I haven’t had so much as a sniffle these past two years. This vegan, ethically manufactured, research corroborated, responsibly priced supplement has earned a permanent place in our household. The only reason I’ve given the product 4-stars instead of 5-stars is that I can’t be certain my unusually robust health over the time period I’ve taken Now Foods glutathione is due to the glutathione. But I’ll keep taking the product as personal health insurance.

I have been taking this supplement for nearly 2 decades, initially to treat pigmentation . I am not sure if it also helps with lines and wrinkles, but my skin has remained the same as when I was in my 30s
