Perfectly flattering! Bought as maternity coat, but will keep in closet forever!
LOVE THIS COAT! I’d absolutely recommend, and would buy again in a heartbeat.I am currently 7 months pregnant and bought this coat a month ago, wearing it non-stop since it arrived. It’s delightful! I was so skeptical of an affordable garment with so many positive reviews, but I can’t imagine a better coat for the price. The bonus is that it’s versatile enough to wear through my pregnancy, but stay in my closet permanently. For reference, I am 5’3″. Pre-pregnancy, I weighed 150 and wore size M-L shirts with a 36-D bra, and size 10 pants. I am now 7 months pregnant and weigh 175. The size Large fits me as perfectly. Well, as perfectly as any other garment does at this point, even with my big belly! The coat is just constructed in a really intelligent way to look drapey and casual with room for my curvy parts, but still giving me a really long profile that makes me look and feeler taller and slimmer. Plenty of room even still for my chest to get bigger, gain more weight all around, and for my belly to grow. My arm or shoulders are not restricted at all, even when lifting my arms up, driving, lifting or chasing my toddler. I’ve worn it with bulky sweaters/hoodies underneath, scarves, gloves, the whole winter kit, and it still has room to move and be a human. It’s also warm enough that I’ve worn it with just a t-shirt and leggings underneath and felt toasty warm, and the look or feel of the coat still wasn’t too big.Don’t be scared off by how much room I’m bragging about! It’s not that this size Large is so gigantic, it’s just that unlike most other winter coats I’ve tried, there is actually versatile construction that takes into account the fact that women do have shoulders and arms, and parts of our bodies that are curvier. Even if you were a taller or thinner person, this would drape in a flattering way. There are side panels that unzip all the way up to your hips allowing for a bit more flexibility, and while there is still a panel of fabric holding the the unzipped area together, it’s still helpful. There is also a row of snaps on either side of the zipper that can be unsnapped to allow for extra room along your belly and chest without changing the look of the jacket much at all. The pockets are slightly above your hips so there isn’t a strange pulling on your hips when your hands/items are in your pockets like in many other coats. There are two huge utility pockets around the waistline that zip up and fit things like your cell phone/small wallet/phone perfectly. See? It’s just smart.I do imagine that in a few weeks, I’ll have trouble sitting in my car with the coat zipped up, even with the side panels unzipped for that extra bit of room. That’s not particularly a problem, though. It will warm up in chilly Kansas City eventually, and I have plenty of room in the coat to wear layers to keep the chill away for the short periods when I may have to move around unzipped when my belly is just so big. For the price, I’d honestly consider buying one size up if I ended up outgrowing the jacket before the baby is born in spring and just donating it when I no longer needed it. If you can only afford one coat and you are just starting your pregnancy, or are already far enough along to have a huge belly, I’d order up a size from your normal measurements just to assure you’d be able to sit down while zipped up without pulling the jacket a little higher on your hips. It might look a bit too big at the beginning, or might not be as flattering post-pregnancy, but not everyone has the luxury of buying multiple specialty items during a pregnancy and your normal non-maternity size might not work as well for you.Bonus- I am usually very allergic to goose and duck down, but the down feathers used in this coat seem to be very clean. I’ve had no sensitivity to the feathers! It’s hard to beat down for warmth, and I’m so glad to have found genuine and clean down for a wildly low price.

Worth every penny
This coat was exactly what I was looking for! Some background on myself: I am half Asian, slim build, 5â3â, 34A/B, I donât really have hips or a large bust or shoulders. I am currently 6 months pregnant and this coat fits with plenty of room. Now, my size at 6 months is different then another mama at 6 months. At my largest part I am 38 inches around. The coat fits loose enough without having to open the side vents. But because I walk at a brisk pace I opened them half way. I havenât had the need to undo the front buttons but I do find if I reach too suddenly the middle button pops open, which is not a big deal. The quality is great for the cost. My one complaint is that the ribbed fabric cuff is starting to show slight signs of pulling. But I have been wearing it everyday for 2 weeks now. Itâs nothing a de-pilling machine wouldnât fix. But also probably caused by my soft fleece gloves rubbing on it.The zipper quality is just fine as are the button quality. The hood is just fabulous and plenty big even if I wear a low pony tail. The plush teddy bear fabric is nice. Iâm just terrified I will get my makeup all over it! (NBD though)The jacket itself is quite warm and I love that the filling is goose and feathers.Others have complained the sleeves are too tight… I found when I initially put the coat on with a medium weigh sweater it was a little snug compared to the body (which is loose fit) but I got used to it and have been wearing thicker pieces since. Yes it is snug, but it wonât rip if I put my arms in carefully. I have worn blazers and leather jackets under the coat and been fine.I have not washed the coat yet but I imagine it will wash fine on delicate cycle and cold water. I wouldnât risk putting it in the dryer until itâs fully dry and only to tumble it with tennis balls to refluff the feathers.

Bring on the cold!
Long, thick and extra warm!!! So many pockets and room for hands to stay warm. Love this jacket! I dislike the cold and this is the perfect winter coat for me. Itâs long enough to cover my chicken legs too. Super cozy and the fabric is not cheap feeling or looking.

Warm and Stylish!
I purchased the Orolay Womenâs Thickened Down Jacket in anticipation for winter (plus it was on sale!), and it will become my go-to coat for the cold weather. The jacket arrived on time and was well-packaged in its own dust cover bag. Initially, I was impressed with the quality of the material and the fabric feels durable yet comfortable. The fit is true to size. The pockets are well-placed and spacious, perfect for my phone, keys, and cold hands. Another feature I love is the adjustable hood, which is large enough to provide excellent protection against wind and rain. The only downside is that the zipper at times can be a bit finicky, requiring a little bit of patience to get it started. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall functionality and style of the jacket. This is a fantastic value for its price. It combines warmth, comfort, and style without compromising on quality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable winter coat.

I’m 5′ 10′ 210 lbs was in need of a casual winter coat for daily moderate use in Canadian Winter as most of my winter coats are either very formal or made for harsh working conditions. This will be my “in between” coat. It fits well on my frame, and has a nice comfy feel inside. It’s somehow voluminous and unstructured without being bulky or making me look like it’s eating me or hiding a pregnancy which is fairly amazing to me. Even the hood is cute and I’m not one for hoods I avoid them on coats. Lots of pockets and zippers but doesn’t look or feel fussy to use them the and the long zipper pulls are stylish makes the coat look kind of aviator in nature. I drive a lot and have muscular arms and can say this is easy for me to slip on and off in close quarters. I also really like the cuff at the sleeves and the length in the back. Honestly the coat gives off a post modern vibe that I really love and I’m looking forward to the snow now that I have it. It is something I can wear both in the city or in the countryside with the right styling for each. I’m happy.

Tante, comode e pratiche.

Annars fin.
