Great Drone for Anyone
This is a 100% keeper when it comes to low cost drones. I’m not a kid or a beginner, but it is a joy to fly. Great for dusk / dark backyard flying as it is highly visible. In the second and third flight modes, it will handle a decent breeze without any problems. One really good thing is that if you fly it out of radio range, it shuts itself off after maybe 2 seconds, so the chances of losing it are minimized. It also has a good range anyway. I may get another one of these as an experimental platform and add a tiny 5.8 ghz fpv camera to it. The gear driven props provide quiet, efficient power. It comes with a full set of props, two batteries and a charger. Flight times are good. Just a note to beginners, charge times are quite long with the little usb charger, so a small investment in a “real” charger that can charge multiple batteries at once, and quicker would be a good idea. The batteries are quite affordable as well if you want more. Just be aware that brushed motors in drones like this do not need to be flown for an extended time without a cool down period, or you will be replacing motors. Fly a battery or two, and let it rest for a few minutes. It would be pretty hard to beat this little drone for the cost. There is also a carrying case available for it here on Amazon, which is nice to have. I like to carry something to fly along on camping and vacation trips, and this is a great choice for that.

Fun, easy little drone…. just don’t fly it above the fence line
My 9yo loves this drone. It was easy for him to figure out how to fly and to change the batteries etc. It’s nice that it comes with an extra battery since a charge only lasts 10-15 minutes. The different colored lights help figure out which direction to fly and are fun in the dark. All of that being said, like many inexpensive drones this thing takes off, I mean gone forever. If you fly it too high – it seems to lose communication with the remote, and if it’s at all windy, it will float away never to be seen again. So keep it indoors or fly it below the fence line and you should be ok. This was our 2nd time purchasing this drone. The 1st one never did turn up.

Great for kids
Update to my review. We did have a propeller break the first day we used it but have not had one break since then. We have flown it many times indoors and outdoors, and it does great. It’s really easy for my 5 year old to control, and my husband loves flying it as well. The batteries don’t last very long, but it came with two, so we get to fly it for about 15-20 minutes. The batteries do charge pretty quickly.Old review: This drone is easy to operate and great for young kids, but a propeller broke the first day we used it. It doesnât seem very durable. Luckily, it comes with replacement propellers, but I have a feeling weâre going to need a bunch.

Looks are deceiving! No Camera!
 As I was debating between 3 drones to buy, I chose this last minute. I was really mistaken by the size from the advertisement. It fits in one hand, but very well built technology! Very easy to maneuver, beautiful lights to help with flight direction. Was upset no camera which is the entire reason I bought. All in all it’s very fast, precise movement and actually long flight time! Comes with 2 batteries and chargers which is really cool. Great beginner drone, and novice flips, freestyle. Best $40 drone I’ve used yet I really wish it had camera it would be over the top!

Nice and small, terrible battery life
My girls really enjoy this, fairly simple to understand and use. Our batteries last a max of 10 minutes for a charge out of the box though. So we can’t even take this to an open field somewhere since we’ll get only 20 minutes with the two batteries that were included, really a bummer. Within the first two days we’ve already lost the capacity to use the trick button- 3d flips don’t work anymore. Otherwise seems to be hanging in there.

Easy and sturdy
We’ve only had it a few days, so I’ll try to come back and update later if anything changes, but so far this drone is great, especially for the price (I paid around $35 in 2023). It is so easy to fly and do tricks. Both my 9 year old and 6 year old learned and mastered all the features within a couple of hours. We’ve flown it indoors and outdoors for many hours a day several days in a row now. As others said, the battery life is not great. A battery lasts maybe 10 – 15 minutes, and does take a long time (more than an hour) to charge. But I bought 2 more backups on Amazon, so we get a solid hour or more of play before we’re completely out of batteries. It’s already withstood several crashes into trees and book shelves too. Seems very sturdy. At one point it got hung very high on a tree branch and we had to climb a ladder and knock it down with a long pole. Not a scratch! I also love that you don’t need a cell phone or app at all. Completely self contained. All in all this was a great purchase so far.

The drone came packaged well and was easy to follow instruction to insert the drone battery. 3 AAA batteries are needed for the remote controller.I followed directions and watched you tube video on how to operate the drone. The battery life is only about 6 minutes. The very first day , i was trying to fly the drone in an open field. The drone lit up, took off went really high, but it would not respond to the remote control in so far as direction. It continued to fly high and fast away from me and ended up flying into a wooded area that is inaccessible to me about 150 yards away. I couldnât locate it and retrieve it The battery died and itâs gone forever. The drone had a mind of its own and did not respond to the joystick on the remote controller. Buyer beware.

Drone wouldn’t pair with controller from box. Followed troubleshooting steps in user manual, didn’t help. Contacted manufacturer. They asked for video of issue to diagnose which I sent. They never responded.
