Consistent quality for years
I’ve used these sponges for years and it’s a CONSISTENTLY dependable product. It has a flat and rounded surface for different areas on your face and neck, providing a uniform texture of foundation. I clean it twice a week using water and liquid hand soap. After rinsing, I spray it with hypochlorous acid (available on Amazon) and allow it to air dry to prevent bacteria accumulation. One sponge can stay clean a couple of months this way.

The last time I bought a Real Techniques sponge was so long ago I don’t even remember. I have only used a few brands, including Beauty Blender, but I think this one is just as good or better than the others. And it’s still a great value even if the price has gone up in the last couple years.I clean my sponge every single day after I use it, but I will say it soaks up foundation o it never comes completely clean. After the better part of a year, or maybe longer, I finally felt like the surface was compromised from repeated cleanings and buildup, so I caved and bought a new one! And ta da! Flawless finish again!
