These work very well.
Got the four pack so I can have one in various rooms. They are bright and do zoom down to a spot light, very nice. Perfect for inside a dark house at night or exploring you front or backyard at night. The feel good in your hand, not lightweight or cheap. Three AAA batteries (not included) for each flashlight, once inserted the lights work perfectly. Note: these are not high end tactical flashlights still very very good. Recommended

These are great flashlights. SO glad I bought them. They feel tactical and ready for anything. I’ve put them through the test: multiple falls, dog chewed it, and my little boy has put these through an unplanned but very rigorous testing regimen lol.The lights are very bright, they are easy to zoom with one hand (this is especially handy when walking my dog late at night, or when searching for something in tight spaces, etc.), and I love the S.O.S. flashing Morse code option. My little boy asked ‘Why is that a big deal, Daddy?’ I said ‘Imagine we get stranded somewhere slightly remote and we need help. This is Morse code for S.O.S, which literally means Save Our Souls but really means ‘We need help now!’ He thought about it and then said ‘Yeah, that’s pretty cool!’I’d easily purchase these again. Make sure to bring extra batteries, as these are powerful and powerful means it will burn through batteries if you’re using it at extra capacities for longer durations. With how good these flashlights are, I’m more than happy to bring extra batteries.

Bright white light. Only one negative. They don’t come with batteries. 18650 batteries and a charger aren’t very expensive. Get the batteries with the highest mAH rating for longer usage.

You get MUCH more than you paid for…
I’ve been fooled by photos before, but I figured, at this price, it’s worth a shot. This time, the picture is worth a thousand words, but I won’t bore you with the details… Suffice to say I am mighty impressed with this little gem. It’s a strong buy suggestion right off the bat.It’s true many mass manufactured items merely RESEMBLE the product they’re knocking off and my judgement has been overruled by nostalgia before. But, in this case, the better strategies for emulating tried and true apply. Namely, updating features, improving on design and win/win market pricing.First off, it’s BRIGHT. No cost tradeoff on the Lumen front. Secondly, it’s very sturdy. The box (a twofer dual pack!) felt heavier than expected in the big envelope it came in and there’s some real heft for such a small thing. It has a very handsome design with a sure-grip shaft and some unnecessary ridging and crowning detail on the bell. Just a nice touch, apparently.The focusing expander LOOKS like it’s a machine screw design for precision, but it’s just window dressing. It’s the only knock I have since I abhor even the appearance of deception. Still, the slider does narrow the beam and it gets down to a perfectly acceptable resolution with smooth action back and forth.The battery compartment is well sealed by good quality threading while the cage is tight and seems to be water resistant. There’s excellent spring in the activator on top and bottom and the red button is a thoughtful nod to fumbling in the dark. Even the wrist strap looks sturdy and of good quality.The LED bulb is bright and the concave lens no doubt helps to intensify the surprisingly powerful beam. I took it outside at night and had no trouble seeing objects well in front of me in a very wide field.The touch sensitive thumb switch offers up a steady state, a rapid strobe and an SOS option which should signal a call for help noticeable from a good distance away. You never know…No way, obviously, to comment on or rate battery life (not included) and I give it overall 4 stars to leave headroom for truly outstanding items.It was a close call though…

Purchased for a little extra light on trail when broke down. Not as bright as rechargeable but bright enough. Pull end to change brightness for zoom. Small enough to fit in pocket. Durable.

I purchased these as “convenience flashlights” for pocket or car. I also have one next to my bed. Batteries provided are BETTER than AAA in term of “charge longevity.” I may get another pair for my carry-on luggage. They are exactly what I needed for the use I required. . .at a price that does NOT “break the bank!” I really like them!

Extremely Pleased and will reorder
I’m very happy with these flashlights. I sometimes lose flashlights or loan them out. Most often they wear out or malfunction. To be honest I do purchase economical flashlights for those reasons. These are a good price point and the quality and brightness is very good for their price. I can’t speak to their longevity yet. The only tiny thing I don’t like is that when it is first turned on it goes direct to SOS mode and then turned off/on it goes to blinking. It takes the 3rd switch on it stays a steady beam.
