Perfect little lite for my oversized head. The head band straps work well, it’s comfortable, it is very bright and the red function is oustanding.Would buy again.

Wow! I really like this headlamp. It will be perfect for camping, hiking or in my Go Bag. It uses 18650 batteries which it comes with one and has space in the storage case (which is a really nice zippered hardsided case) for two more batteries, a usb cable, instructions, the head strap and even with all that in it you can still fit the headlamp.Two seperate buttons on the unit, the black button turns on the white light which has four levels, one click gives you the low setting which is 50 lumens for up to 46 hours, the next click gives you 270 lumens for up to 6 hours, the third click gives you 580 lumens for up to 4-1/2 hours and a fourth click gives you 1100 lumens for up to 2-1/2 hours but it has a temperature control built in that kicks in every 3 minutes when on the high setting , all the white lights are diffused through the lenses. The the red button turns on the red lights, which has four levels. First click is 20 lumens for up to 30 hours, the second click is 35 lumens for up to 18 hours, the third is 70 lumens for up to 5-1/2 hours and the fourth is 140 lumens for up to 4 hours.The red lights are what makes this headlamp stand out above all my others. I like using red light when camping because it doesn’t attract bugs and doesn’t mess up your natural night vision. When using a white light at night you will be almost blind for a minute or two when you turn the light off because your eyes have to adjust to the darkness, with red lights your eyes don’t have to adjust so when you turn off the red lights you don’t go blind for a minute or two. It’s also good for when you are camping and don’t want a bright light disturbing others at night. The red light doesn’t travel as far so it doesn’t annoy your neighbors in their tent.The headlamp uses 18650 batteries that are rechargeable, I have other flashlights that use this same size so that is a plus for me, no needing to buy different battery sizes. I have a charger at home that will charge 4 of the 18650 batteries at a time but the battery can also be charged while in the headlamp via a usb port under one of the screw off caps. That’s another plus for when camping. I can just attach the headlamp to a usb charging cable and recharge the battery during the day if I run our of power. I don’t think I will since I can carry 2 extra batteries in the case but it’s nice to know I can if I need too.The strap is comfortable (although I hate the neon green color and will replace that) and it is not too heavy when wearing it around (wore it around my house for about 4 hours testing it when I recieved it).t has a magnet in the other cap end (the one the battery goes in) that can be used to attach it to the side of your car or somewhere when setting up camp if you don’t want it attached to your head…Of the three headlamps I currently have this is by far my favorite.I highly recommend getting one.

This headlight is perfect. I’ve used many headlights, and this one takes the win. Easily.The white light is a perfectly neutral temperature. Not too cool, not too warm. My friend was jealous, his headlamp shone with an unnatural blue.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered.Has a silicone mount, allows for full 90° tilting, 45° up or down. Light is removable, for handheld use or magnet mount. Can be used on other mounts.This came with a case. I was wondering why I needed a case for a headlight, but this one is smartly designed. Has pockets for two spare batteries, a cord or two more batteries, the specs sheet, the lamp, and the straps The straps tuck into a pocket with the light up top, making a perfect fit against the batteries nestled below when it closes. Clever. The case has a smooth zipper and a rugged nylon. Even the mesh inside for the pockets is good.The light is minimal. A metal tube with usbc port under one cap and battery port on the other, with a magnet in one end. Small but mighty lights on front. The magnet is sufficiently strong; it holds to a 1” steel pole. (If it holds to the pole, it’ll hold to flat surfaces better)Strap has the swiggles of silicone for grip inside. Has a top strap that is easily removable. Stays on without the top strap.Fully waterproof. Intuitive buttons. One for red, colored red, and a black button for white light. One click on, one click off. Cycles thru intensities when pressed within 5 seconds. Saves level setting. No holding the button, no double or triple clicks.I have nothing bad to say about this light. It is optimized in every way. I give this KilNex my highest endorsement. Impressive!
