Very impressive camera!
Excellent resolution, but the client software for Windows leaves quite a bit to be desired, especially when replaying stored videos. I plan to try it with Blue Iris and will update my review when I do.

I bought one of these cameras and was so happy I bought three more. I use them for security (I can read the license play number of passing vehicles) and to do a time lapse on a house I am building. Super easy to do the time lapse. I had a problem with one camera bc I didnât seal it from the elements properly and they shipped me a new one in a few days.

Pretty Great Performance for the Price
Wanted a camera for our mountain home that I could access remotely. This Reolink camera works better than I expected. With a POE 4 port switch I was able to quickly get this connected and accessible via the internet. With a micro SD card, this works almost as well as a DVR. The Relonk App works great and depending on how you set up the video recording, it will store up to two weeks of capture. The App will save snapshots directly to you pictures folder on your PC, or you can easily create a new folder / location via the App. All in all, this was a bargain for the features that it delivers on.. Would definitely recommend if you need an Internet accessible camera without spending a fortune.

Good wide angle resolution, with good number of settings. Write down the UID number before starting… you will thank me for that.ReoLink mounting of cameras is very good. You can do almost whatever you want. Better than other wifi cameras I’ve tried.Colour 24/7 requires suffient lighting from a streetlight, or a backyard light that is on. Colour throughout the night is nice.Options such as recording any of the 3, vehicles, people, animals… is your choice.I own 2 as of now. Thinking I need 2 more.

Reolink have great cameras, and seem more reliable and have better support than many other brands, however my expectations of a 12 mp camera versus the RLC 811A were a little disappointing as this was not as sharp or much better than the 8mp camera. Even the review of the RLC 1212A was disappointing. I would have thought the 1212A would have been slightly better than the RLC 811A but it didnât appear to be so. Nevertheless Reolink are hard to beat for quality, reliability and support and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had issues with Reolink cameras and Sighthound video. The cameras “smear” and this triggers the motion detection and causes false positives. This camera seems to be fine though. You need to use the app to enable the RTSP stream.

I have to say, I’m impressed! Night vision is very strong, and I’m only using it with IR since the strobes lights are a bit too strong! Using it outside on over our dark parking spot.Setup is easy, running with PoE, I had some issues configuring it with my QNAP QVR Pro NVR, but since it’s ONVIF compatible, I just used that profile and it works well.The only minus I see is that, when raining or snowing on the camera, the lens can get a bit foggy (on the outside), it clears by itself after a while, so it’s not a big issue.
