Rykas are Super Supportive and Buoyant for Water Aerobics
This is my third or fourth pair over 7 or 8 years of 5 days a week usage. They last and are comfortable and supportive protecting your feet and knees. The inner lining eventually wears out, but they are just as good without the lining. I do wish they would come up with less shoestrings flopping around, I tie mine in lots of knots and use the slider to keep them tightened.I also wish they would come out with better colors. My earlier shoes were teal but everything is dark now. These last much longer and provide much more cushion and support than the thin water shoes.

Excellent for water aerobics
A friend of mine recommended these to me for water aerobics. When I saw her with them, I was a little skeptical because they looked like they would be heavy after getting them wet. However, the design of this shoe is remarkable.I have been using the regular (cheaper) water walking shoes and they give no support and only last a few months with 5 days of aerobics each week. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud in the pool with these. My ankles and arches have so much more support and I haven’t had any issues with my plantar fasciitis since I’ve been wearing them. The dry time is about the same as it is with other water shoes I’ve tried, typically overnight. I really like the new design of the laces. They have a spring clamp to adjust them on your foot and I still have enough slack to tie the laces. The ones my friend has, the laces are too long and it is a bit of an inconvenience for her. It sounds like there were some complaints and this issue has been addressed. I’m a size 7.5 in most shoes and these are a perfect fit at 7.5.I know the price is bit more expensive than the other ones I have tried but if I’m having to replace those every 2-3 months and can get at least 6 months out of these, it will be worth the difference. My friend says she’s had hers for more than 2 years so I think this is the better purchase, overall.I think a good review should include likes and dislikes, however, at this time, I haven’t found any dislikes. If that changes, I will update this review.

Comfortable
I love the look and feel of these shoes. They have great traction, and they size appropriately. They seem to have waterproof material.

Great for water aerobics, true to size
I got these shoes for my water aerobics classes and I love them. After reading the split reviews on the fit, I decided to order my regular shoe size (a size 9) and although they seemed a TINY bit loose, they fit perfectly once I tightened the laces. Had I gotten a 1/2 smaller I know they would have been too small. So, I’m voting for “true to size”. The traction is great, no slipping at all. It’s just like I’m on land in a well cushioned sneaker. I have a foot condition that affects one of the bones in my toe and these are so well made that my foot doesn’t hurt at all jumping around in the water. I feel I’ve been able to more fully participate in all the jumps, kicks and jogging in the water since buying these. The flimsy pairs you get that just slip on don’t even compare. They’re nice and roomy in the toe box, which I like, and fit great around the ankle. As for the laces, these have the lock laces where you can tighten and unloosen them with a fastener. There is quite a bit of lace left over after I tighten them and if I don’t double knot what’s left behind, they do come untied in the water. Even still, it doesn’t affect the fit of the shoe, it’s just annoying having the laces float around in the water. Double knotting keeps them tied for me.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because these hold on to a lot of water. If I don’t take them off right when I get out of the pool and wring them out, I’m left with an excess of water tracking all over the place. I forgot to wring them out once and left them in my laundry room only to find the entire floor covered in water later on. Also, even with the insole removed, they take a good 24 hours to dry, unless I put them outside on a sunny day.All things considered, these are awesome sneakers for my needs and I highly recommend them for anyone doing water aerobics!

Great Solution for Rough Beaches, Rocks and Water Immersion
Wore these to Hawaii where the lava rock is sharp and small pieces are scattered about the beach and underwater. These made exploring possible without injuring my feet. The water does flow in/out quickly so they are good for swimming/snorkeling. As quick as the water goes out, sand also comes back in so they do require a thorough rinse when leaving the water. I also use these just for walking and they have good arch support – comfy.

Spend the money youâll be better off recommend
Tried nearly 6 different water shoes cheaper ones – all but one pair returned.Kept the Merrill mock style but the footbed isnât soft enough. I have bones poking out of the ball of one foot thanks to an incompetent foot doctorâs surgery on it.I used to wear Rykä 10 years ago when I taught water aerobics. Gave this pair a tryout of desperation. They are instant winners. Amazon recommended to buy size 8, but got 8.5 and am glad I did.Toe box very roomy as fabric not tight and full of holes for drainage. Sole soft enough for pool deck and shower. It also retains traction when running on the pool floor while in the water.Spend a little more they are well worth it.

As described. Water escapes easily. I usually wear a size 9, ordered size 9, they fit perfectly! They are very comfortable. We play football in the water so they are the perfect running shoe to use.. light but sturdy. Highly recommend

These were recommended by our aquafit instructor and she was so right. The added support I get allows me to add strength and stamina to my workout. I will never buy the slippers again.

Los zapatos llegaron rápido, la medida tal cual sugieren en la tabla de tallas, los zapatos están bonitos, solo que para senderismo no los recomendarÃa, se sienten las piedras del camino y les falta agarre.
