My New Go-To Sweater!
This Sailwind Menâs Crewneck Sweater is like a warm hug from a stylish cloud. Itâs ridiculously softâIâm talking âdid I just pet a cashmere kitten?â soft. Plus, it somehow makes me look put together even when Iâm just throwing it on to grab a coffee. Iâve gotten so many compliments, Iâm starting to think the sweater should run for office. Itâs the perfect balance of cozy and cool, and the best part? No itchiness! If youâre looking for a sweater thatâs as comfortable as pajamas but makes you look like you tried, this is it. Sexy fit…husband was mad at me for shopping for him, but kept this!
My hubby wears scrubs most of the time, and is annoyed if we spend $$ on him. We revamped some of the 10 year old pieces in his closet at a local store, and then I shopped more online.He sent back four items, but kept THIS is brown and a grey sweatshirt thing. For reference He is 6ft 185 lbs 32″ waist–kept the size “M”–he still has good shoulders, but isn’t as bulked up as pre-kids (he could be broader and still be ok in M–the fit would be baggy in the torso if he went larger. (This is a more “traditional fit” as opposed to let’s say fitted “buckle brand” clothing where he’s usually a large).He hates scratchy sweaters (this is soft). He needs a longer sleeve (inseam 34), but many shirts that have this are too long in the torso. This was great…looks hot with a pair of jeans. HIGHLY recommend for somewhat taller, lean “dad” guys–perfect for a pumpkin patch next fall or date night this winter or just hanging on the couch–he’s much more likely to get lucky than if he stays in his scrubs–eew.

Although the sweater initially looked and felt great, after just a few wears it was bobbling badly. So, while it’s great for occasional wear, I can’t imagine it’ll last long.
