International Version X110 Bundle (256gb SD Card) Works Great in US for Me
I was cautious when purchasing this based on other reviews. Until I read all reviews These are the Pros and Cons I have found.PROS: I purchased the Samsung A7Lite for my DJI drone works great but only 32BG Storage. I wanted a 64bg version but not available in US Version. I read reviews and came up with this setup option. I Chose English language with South Africa for region. Since I have a Samsung Phone I used the Smart Switch app to transfer settings, and apps. (PRO and CON) First I selected transfer all: This was a mistake because I filled the memory quickly with images, music, documents ect. I deleted all images and most documents. Music and docs I moved to the Bundled 256gb SD card. This created a mirror image of my Samsung Ultra 24 phone (PRO & CON) But very familiar. After setup I deleted unwanted apps and cleaned trash and found an acceptable balance of favorite apps and free storage space. Overall works very well, does not seem to bog down like old Lenovo 8″ 16gb that this is replacing.CONS: You have to watch the file transfer for battery life and time always longer than first estimate. But Used wifi and chargers and went to bed to allow tablet to transfer from phone.Storage fills up pretty fast with apps and system functions. No warranty was a slight concern but seller has a decent DOA and free return policy. As long as it makes through the burn in time (first 48hrs) they are usually good.Overall Review: Works well, as good as other Samsung products. Smart Switch was great! After setup could not tell it was international version all settings mirrored phone. It was a good price, good product and easy setup with other Samsung products.

Excellent Android Tablet
For the money, you can’t beat this new international version of this Samsung 8.7″ tablet. Works perfectly with Android 14. Fast and with terrific dual stereo speakers. It would be “5 Star” but the camera is awful. But that’s most Android tablets now. Worthless cameras and without flash. They figure people will use their phone cameras anyway. Sure, but for an extra couple bones they can’t put a decent camera in these things? Frustrating and annoying. But again, that’s all but the very top end tablets.Don’t let the “International Version” bother you. You can still choose “USA English” and just choose a country where English is dominant, like South Africa or Australia. Once you do that in the initial setup you’re good to go. There’s nothing different from one designed for USA sales. People who got bent and sent it back because they could’t choose USA as the country simply lost out. Lol.

If You Live in North America and have a Samsung Phone, Read This Before You Return It
When I was looking to buy this I noticed all the one star ratings returned theirs because it was an “International” model, like the description states. People didn’t know that international was going to mean that you couldn’t pick your location if you live in the United States. Your only choices were countries in the middle east. I think this is because Samsung does not support the Tab A9 in North America.I am an IT guy, and here is what I did. During set up, you pick your language. (English US). Then you pick your country. Of the middle eastern choices, I chose Saudi Arabia. It won’t matter which country you pick. After that initial set up it realized I had a Samsung phone in range and asked if I wanted to transfer my files from my Samsung Galaxy S20 phone. I did this wirelessly using SmartSwitch. The tablet took the location information from my phone, effectively overwriting my Saudi Arabia location choice earlier.I can vouch 100% for this device. I got this as an alternative to my ipad because of its size and weight, and I am tired of waiting for the iPad Mini 7 to come out. This is a third of the price as well. Its nice playing games and looking at pictures and watching videos on the 8″ screen instead of my phone. I even set it up so I can text and make phone calls from it being logged into my Samsung account. I even did a video call, just like Facetime on an iPad.I hope this helps offset the negative reviews which center around the location setting and returning it instead of reviewing the device itself.

Beware
Because this is an international wifi model., should a problem occur even during warranty time, No one, not seller, amazon, or samsung will help. They will send you into an endless loop of contact someone else. Ultimately you just lose your money.

It is what I was looking for
I bought this to replace my Fire HD 8, that I have had for a couple of years. I was looking for a tablet about 8″, sized between my phone and my surface pro. I was surprised to find that 8″ tablets are not available in the US. I was concerned about purchasing te international version. But after reading the reviews, I was more comfortable with the purchase. Because the warranty would not cover the tablet in the US, I did purchase the 2 year extended waranty.Setup went well. The region was not an issue. Since I synced it with my galaxy s21 it is now homed to the US. The Tab9 is just as fast as my S21. The Tab9 is 2ozs lighter than the Fire HD. That does not sound like much, but after holding the tablets, while reading, for a bit, it makes a big difference.Overall, I am quite happy with the Galaxy Tab9 8.7″ tablet. I have only had it for 2 days, but no issues yet. I would recommend this item.

Love it
Outstanding screen quality. Videos and movies will smoke an iPad. At 1/3 the cost. This thing is faster than a dingo in a sheep shed. Volume is very loud. Speakers on both sides. Your neighbors might complain about the noise.

weird region options but ok
the inly regions available were in Africa and the middle east. I almost sent it back but decided not to. (I’m in the USA)… thenregion thing was a non issue. I’m a pilot and use the tablet to run the Garmin Pilot app in my airplane, and this thing is ideal, way faster than the A7 I had previously, and I can pull up any needed charts instantly. so definitely a good unit.
