Fits over helmet!
My hood just arrived and the weather needs to cool off to really put it to the test. So far, it’s is good quality, soft, and warm. The biggest benefit is a fits over a ski helmet! The face protection part is nice as well. Plenty of coverage but also breathable and not suffocating.

Works great as an outer layer
Just field tested this snuggy after a winter boat ride in the NE and it worked great! Letting my friends know there’s no shot this would fit over a ski/board helmet. It’s pretty tight on top of a thin hood and small beanie underneath. The wind definitely cuts through, but if layered correctly it acts as a great soft outer layer, especially over your chin and nose. It’s breathable enough to not let your breath freeze the inside as with tighter gators, and easy to nudge down while wearing gloves to talk, take a break and sip water while staying in place over your ears and neck. Price is right and would recommend while understanding its limitations. Enjoy!

Great for dogs too!
I know it’s advertised for humans but my dog (60lbs) hates the cold because her ears start to hurt. She has some leopard print dog boots and a matching vest but now she has the perfect head wrap for her ears! It’s super soft and very warm!!! I tried it on of course and it was getting hot in my house after a few minutes. Took it outside and it blocked the wind from my ears and face! I ordered a pink one for my other dog to match her pink winter outfit! I can’t wait for them to strut down the street in their new head wraps!! If you have a large breed dog that gets cold, I recommend!! You can cinch down the fabric and tie it! It’s perfect!! It won’t come off easily and it just looks super cute! 10/10!

Too thin
I almost returned it. The shrink wrap they send it in is as thin as a pancake. Many companies are doing this to save money. I don’t like it. Product is alright but not great. Quality seems average. For the price it should be bigger and thicker.

i was worried with a couple reviews i saw leaving one star but i personally love this product. I’m not a skier, i’m a smoker. living in a valley sucks for windy days (pretty much a constant) but this balaclava keeps me warm and super cozy, heck i might even wear it to work it’s so damn comfy and fits so nicely on my head 🙂 i really like the mask detail for extra cold days and the drawstrings that make the hood tighter so you’re even more shielded from the cold and wind. Definitely something i would buy again and would recommend to hikers, skiers and boarders (the lot) but don’t have the expectation to try and stretch it over your helmet, it might fit, but i say just wear it underneath and adjust your helmet ?? because those were most of the complaints i was seeing. anyways LOVE IT THANK UUUUU 💞

I used this recently for skiing and it fit very comfortably. It is very warm and fits nice under my helmet. It could probably fit over top of helmet, there is lots of room. I found it to be of very good quality for the price that I paid and would buy another one for family. The soft fabric is great and doesnt cause any itching. Very breathable and comfotable.
