Small, easy to use. Great product. One caveatâ¦
Iâm a big Shelly fan. I have over 40 modules controlling lights, fans, and appliances. I monitor power usage, temperature, and humidity (the temperature actually controls my HVAC – no thermostat needed).This new small device allows me to embed a controller inside some of my appliances, no longer requiring the module be installed in the outlet box. I can move the appliance to another area and still have remote control.IMPORTANT: The wiring diagram in the instructions is misleading: the I and O connections are the relay switch and not the power output as implied. Took me a while to figure that out.The standard wiring should be power applied to the L and N terminals, a jumper from L to I, and then connect appliance to the O and N connections. See the diagram. This means you can use the relay switch to control devices such as low voltage lighting, hobby projects, etc.

This Shelly stuff just works!
Setup is easy, plenty of flexibility for power and wet or dry control. Alexa has no problem with it. And the size allows placement in all sorts of locations heretofore impossible. And the pricing is excellent. Perfect!

Great product and ecosystem – careful screwing down terminals
This product is easy to use with average electrical knowledge. Their support site is excellent and there’s tons of videos out there. The app is very good and integrates with all popular HA systems. I was able to find tutorials on how to implement these in 3-way switching while keeping all switches functional.Be careful screwing down the terminals. I have one that started to feel a little “soft” and I didn’t want to risk stripping it out. Terminal is tight so I have no concern using it.

Used three shellys together to turn lights on and off from a remote switch. The minis are really small and are great for fitting into crowded work boxes. Everything worked great until we had a power outage with fuses trying to automatically reset at our local substation. Voltage must have surged. One of the minis lost. Still functions as a switched relay but won’9t work with any actions or scripts. All (5) Shelly plus relays and the other mini still work.

Rarely does an item get a 5 star from me. This one does it.This is tiny and easily fit inside the fixture while at the same time having strong enough WIFI to get out of the fixture. Setup was simple and best of all it does NOT require any cloud connection that could compromise your home network. Easy web interface or control via a scripts.

Amazingly simple setup
I am totally amazed at how simple this was to set up and integrate with Alexa. It first connected to the app via Bluetooth then connected to my WIFI. Then I used the Alexa app to add the relay to Alexa and it totally walked me through linking Alexa to Shelly. It is so well integrated that now I can add any Shelly device and it will automatically link it with Alexa for control. I am impressed.

Is inderdaad kleiner als vorige versie, maar nog altijd wat moeilijk in de pot te krijgen van de schakelaar. Hopelijk wel langere levensduur als de vorige. Die ging maar 2 jaar mee.

Come sempre prima di recensire un prodotto ,lo testo per comunicare al meglio cosa ne penso.Questo piccolissimo scatolotto che può essere messo dentro una 503 ,funziona prefettamente.Gli usi possono essere a migliaia,comunque dove c’è bisogno di comandare a distanza qualcosa tramite telefono.Luci,serrature,pompe ecc.ecc.Aggancia il wifi immediatamente.Ovviamente va installato da chi ha un minimo di conoscenze nel campo elettrico,ma garantisco che è davvero semplice.Dispone di un contatto PULITO.Come si interagisce ?Tramite un applicazione molto semplice ed intuitiva da usare ( prima volta che la uso,ho impiegato letteralmente 10 minuti),senza leggere istruzioni .Attenzione all’applicazione perché ha moltissime funzioni e ci si potrebbe perdere.Consiglio ,prima di rendere operativo lo Shelly ,di “giocarci” un po’.Comunque fino ad ora ( acquistato a luglio) non ho avuto nessun problema.Consigliato senza dubbi.
