Look, 25 bucks seems ridiculous for a night light, but when you inspect the little details you begin to understand why. The fox itself doesn’t just snap on the base like a regular night light, but rather it has a small plate and two screws across the back holding it on, so it is VERY secure. Also the plug itself rotates, so if your outlets were installed upside-down or sideways, it doesn’t matter — it will always be able to sit upright. Also the quality of the mold and the original sculpt is extremely well-done so it doesn’t have any strange plastic remnants or inconsistencies anywhere on it. Overall it’s extremely high-quality and I’d definitely buy another model from this manufacturer, as well as recommend this one to anyone who’s interested. We got it for the bathroom so we don’t have to turn on a light in the middle of the night, and it’s absolutely perfect for that. Finally, it’s just a really precious, cute little piece of extraneous decor, perfect for an eclectic-themed home. ISSUES FROM OTHER REVIEWS: Some other reviewers have noted that the unit is not secure in the outlet because it doesn’t have the third (grounding) prong. I do not have this issue and I suspect it’s because all my plugs are Tamper Resistant, which means they have little spring-loaded shutters inside. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m not, but I do know my light stays perfectly secure in the wall. Other reviewers have noted that the glitter on the tail, ears, and chest comes off. I have found that if I drag my finger across, it will come off; but it’s not dripping glitter all over the place just sitting there. If this is an issue for you, I could recommend giving it a quick, light brush with something soft like a feather duster, or hit it with some canned air to remove any loose glitter, and then just don’t mess with it — but in my own personal experience the glitter is not an issue to keep from purchasing. As I said, I’d recommend this heartily to anyone looking for a high-quality, fun little piece of decor that serves its original purpose extremely well.

Bought for my son’s woodland themed nursery. This nightlight is absolutely adorable!! And, it gives off plenty of light for us during our late-night feedings.

Very cute night light. Slightly larger than I expected. Does not sense dark, it just needs to be turned on and off each time. Only two pronged plug so it’s a little wobbly and insecure in the outlet because of how big it is. Which means I don’t feel safe having it down in my toddler’s reading area like I hoped. He could easily bump it halfway out and get shocked trying to play with it or fix it. We put it up out of reach in our bathroom, though, and it’s perfectly cute in there.

I’m a young man in my mid-twenties, and every night this night light makes me feel like a safe, carefree child again. So much nostalgia. Great quality. Just get it!
