So worth it.
As someone who doesnât have a ton of expendable income, I decided on these earbuds after my 5 year old, $20, made in china earbuds finally crapped out on me. I couldnât afford to invest in something super expensive, but I work a very physical and independently motivated job, and I cant get through a day without my music. I wanted something with DECENT quality, fairly durable and can handle a bit of wear and tear. If thatâs what youâre looking for, THESE ARE the earbuds youâre looking for. Iâve been enjoying these for a good few months now, but today I finally decided to write a review because I lost one of my earbuds in my work parking lot on a rainy afternoon and found it again this morning in a puddle. I was pleased to have found it, but apprehensive that it would still work. Much to my surprise, not only is it still working perfectly, but the sound quality was not damaged by the water that surely got inside of it, and it actually held up battery all night, and was still at 50% when I picked it up from the ground today. I am thoroughly impressed by the durability of this product. It is perfect for my clumsy and hard working self, and the audio quality is nothing to complain about if you arenât looking for something extravagant.

Great sound, much better than paying for Airpod Pro’s
Update: I found a solution. Holding down the button on the non-working earbud, I was able to turn it off, place it back in the battery charger/holder, and it started working again. So it wasn’t planned obsolescence, I just thought it was. This solution wasn’t found on their website or their support articles, it was found on reddit. TIL.Old review:One earbud stopped working after 11 months of useThe sound was great, but planned obsolescence seems to be what too many electronic companies participate in, in order to get more sales. But this customer won’t ever buy from them again.I tried all of their troubleshooting steps, on both the documentation that came with the earbuds and the ones on their website (which were the same), but it didn’t help. I would contact support directly but they don’t offer it past a certain time after purchase. I didn’t rate the noise cancellation because I never used it.My wired ZeroAudio earbuds, however, still work after almost 7 years of use. I’ve accidentally yanked them out of my ears so many times while exercising or mowing, but they still sound great. Ironically, the earbud in the photo with the blue light on is the one that doesn’t play any sound.

Edit: after 6 months they didnât work
Edit: Had connectivity issues get worse as time went on. The left one always disconnected randomly until it quit connecting at all. Then it didnât charge. Buds were always stored in the case. Never dropped. Nothing unusual. I wiped the connections. Tried all the troubleshooting methods. Nothing. Lasted about 6 months. I would not recommend or buy again. Not new to the brand. Always found Skull Candy decently priced and usable. Iâm not really an ear bud person. I prefer over the ear headphones (Iâve been rocking the Crusher wireless for about 8 years now).Anyhow. I needed some portable buds I can leave at work as the funky, cheap, wired foam ones from work gives for free werenât cutting it. Constantly got complaints my voice was muffled and unclear. These seemed to fit the bill.Cheap- affordable, didnât break my budget, if someone steals them I can buy another set. Iâve had worse that cost more.Bluetooth- connects rather quickly. Way easier to pair between multiple devices than my Crushers. Can seamlessly switch between PC and my phone when I need to without needing to forget the previous device.Sound quality- Decent. They arenât top tier. If your and audiophile these are not for you. But conversations, meetings, music, podcasts are all audible and clear. They do randomly cut out frequently which is more irritating each time it happens. Also, my left bud has quit working while wearing them more than once. The right one keeps working. To solve it I have to place it back in the case, close the case, and let it re-pair. I suggest keeping the case with you all the time.App- havenât really used it much since the purpose was mostly for work meetings. If I delve into it Iâll update.Mic- voice command works. Reviewers mentioned muffled voice but I havenât had any negative feedback since I switched to these. Which is awesome since voice quality was part of the reason I was looking to buy these. During phone calls while driving I do get told the background noise is louder than usual (traffic, wind, wipers). So the mic picks up more than it should.Battery life- So far they exceed expectation. I did a weeks worth of training videos every day and didnât need to recharge the case. Every morning they were at 100%. A full 40 hour week in use and no need to charge. Thatâs a win.

Amazing but to an extent!
First things first Skullcandy has been my go to headphones for a little under a decade so Iâm always checking out different products made by them. As of recent its been rough. Straight off the bat, these headphones are great. The sound is really good for my liking, it has clean sounds and bass which is typically what I look for in headphones. They fit pretty well but could be better. Now the battery is just long enough where I do feel like Iâm getting good use out of them but thats where the problems begin. Every so often they tend to connect on there own even when in the case charging which becomes a problem for me as I personally use one at a time so when dies Iâm ready to switch over, but since they connect while charging theyâre losing battery life and you wonât know unless you look into the app. And when considering the app the voice control isnât that great but when it works its really handy. A few pairs of headphones (from Skullcandy) have done this recently and Iâve considered its time to switch over to a new brand soon. Otherwise good product if you can put it with it randomly connected these are a good choice.

Cost Efficient Earbuds Do The Job
These earbuds are not top of the line, so that wasn’t expected. The brand has been around a long time. These earbuds deliver good sound. They will last as they are waterproof and the case is robust. Again, not audiophile sound – but you will enjoy these earbuds. Bass can be rich or mellow. A nice fit with several fitment options and an excellent return policy if you dont like them. A good choice here.

Gone through a variety of bluetooth ear buds over the years, these are my favourite. Surely there are better ones $150+, but given the propensity for them to lose charge and/or get lost, these are a great compromise. If i lose these, they’re a tolerable loss but simultaneously no serious compromise on listening quality. After almost daily use for a full year I can offer:- they sync easily with iPhone- sound quality is above average (especially for this price point)- hold a really long charge (i charge them once/week)- charging case always worksStrongly recommended.
