It is exactly what it says
This bike slime works great for inner tubes. It worked just like it should. I am happy with the purchase.

Seem heavy duty. Which is what I need.
Used on an old school garden cart with galvanized rims.

    Life saver
I broke down 3 mi away from my hours with a abt 1 and a half inch screw in my tire I thought the best thing to do was pull it out after I did the tire deflated a little but after pushing it home a little bit I guess the slime did it’s thing it hardend up and stop leaking air I then stopped at a new by city bike pump and pumped it up all the way I’m yet to ride it but I see no holes I push on it doesn’t go down and there’s no hissing sound

    Poor Delivery, Great Product
Slime tubes are amazing. If you ride a bike and don’t use them, you don’t know what you’re missing. The reason I’m leaving a four star review is because of the delivery quality. I bundled this with another item and the two of them were just thrown into a bag. The box was crushed but fortunately the tubes weren’t.

    Good deal
Easy installation. Don’t know if they work and hope to not find out. I’ve had 6 flats in 2 months. I have had one flat with the slime tube and it didn’t seal because the nail was huge and hooked at the end. Overall, very satisfied.

    Effective.
I’ve been putting slime tubes in Schwalbe tires. I get a flat about every 5k miles. I think that’s pretty reasonable.

    Sturdy
Awesome, rode through all terrain in this, even a stream! I fell in though, but that’s besides the point these tubes are awesome and very sturdy they can ride through thorns and rocks.

Two things… Updated Sept 2022 and deleted three stars.
***** Update September 2022****Unfortunately, the second tube failed in the same way that the first one did. The second photo shows this tube with the Slime still on it. You will see that that the second tube let go in nearly the same spot as the first and that there are bubbles in that area that didn’t burst, just like the first tube.I’m not sure what to say and I hate to write a bad review. There seems to be a bunch of great ratings, but unfortunately, I got a set with what look to be matching, manufacturing defects. The tubes were on two different wheels and let go in the same manner, in almost the same place. So there wasn’t an issue with my rims, or rim strips.Thankfully, both tubes failed while the bike was parked in the garage. If they had blown while on a ride, I would have been walking because the Slime didn’t seal the leaks. For now, I do not plan on purchasing these again and will see how Schwalbe tubes do.You’ll see mention of a Bell tube in the original review below. As of now, it is still installed and doing fine, but will be removed when I install the pair of Schwalbe tubes. The Bell will be kept as a back up.****Original 4 star review below…*** The tubes were purchased and installed 9-22-21 and were not reviewed until June, 2022 when the rear tube let go.Tubes seem to be a crap shoot. Will you get the right tube from an online order (presta/schrader, size, sealant or not) installation, type of riding etc etc. Finally after all that…will it last? When buying tubes keep a few things in mind…On older bikes with Schrader valves, some sizes are becoming difficult to find. However, you can convert to a Presta. Just use a lock ring to secure the valve in the larger rim hole and an adapter to air them up with standard pumps and compressors.Get Rim Strips or Tape. I’ve bought both Slime and Bell tubes and neither came with them. With the above being said….The two things I noticed with these tubes had to do with the sealant. The first, if you visit Slime’s website you will learn that there is an expiration date on the sealant. However, there is no indication of an expiration date on the packaging of these tubes. The second, be prepared to have some splatter of sealant from the Schrader, whenever you air up or deflate the tubes. It’s no big deal, but it happens. So have something handy to wipe it up and make sure the valve is at the lowest point of the wheel as it helps a little. As to my experience with these tubes:They installed easily on a 2003 GT Palomar with 26″ wheels and 1.95″ Specialized Hemisphere tires. They were inflated to 55lbs and saw a few short test rides on pavement with a 220-230lb rider. From there, they sat as it was the end of the riding season in the northeast (2021). These had been purchased and installed due to the failure of a Bell tube that was installed earlier in the year. After I did a full tear down and service on the bike in the spring, the tubes were brought back up to pressure, taken for a test ride and all was good.Unfortunately, a few days after the test ride, I found the rear tire to be completely flat. When I squeezed the tire, I heard air flowing in and out and knew there was a major failure with the tube.In the first picture you will see that I cleaned the Slime off the tube. You can also see where it failed and was beginning to bubble again.I checked the rim and there were no sharp spots where the tube failed. The rim strip was centered and solid (for what it’s worth, the rim strip is a Kenda, which seems to be more like the rubber strips from the 80’s, than the nylon feeling types some companies offer). It seems like a mfg. defect. But hey, all mfgs will have defects from time to time.I can’t hate the company and product for what happened at this point. So I have left 4 stars to see how the other tube does.As of now, the Slime tube that didn’t fail is in the front wheel and I put the Bell tube that didn’t fail, in the rear. The Bell had been removed to install the pair of Slime tubes when one of the Bell’s failed. The failure of the Bell, was not the tubes fault and I did write a review.I’ve ordered a pair of Schwalbe tubes as back ups, just in case the Slime or Bell fail.Hope this helps, good luck tube hunting and ride safe.

They work!! Recently I had 2 flats. I did not know that I had punctures until several hours after I returned home when I noticed that the tires were completely flat. I suppose what was happening was that the liquid sealant was sealing the hole, but when the rotation of the wheel stopped, the liquid was not passing and sealing the hole. I have no way of knowing when the punctures occurred, and consequently I don’t know for how many km the sealing worked. Presumably at some stage the sealant will become exhausted if the hole is not sealed, and the air in the tube will escape. For the first puncture, the ride was 25km and for the second ride it was 50km.Highly recommended to avoid having to fix a puncture at the side of the road!!
