Comfortable and stationary
I’ve had soundcore before. So I already knew it would be quality earphones. The sound comes through loud and clear and people on the phone hear you loud and clear. The problem was I kept losing the last pair. So I purchased these for the over eat hook and soundcore did not disappoint. Same quality and I did the head shake to see if it would stay put and it did. The bonus is how comfortable they are. Comfortable enough to write this review. Definitely worth the purchase hope this helps.

Earbuds that won’t break the bank
Great set of earbuds with good sound that does the job. I like the fact that when you put them on you can position the speakers three ways for that custom fit. Download the app and you can make adjustments to the equalizer settings for more customized sound. Bass response is ok. The multi device sync is convenient. I use these to sync to my laptop and use for remote work as my primary microphone. They are comfortable enough to use for a few hours at at time. Give them a try.

Average earbuds
I did not notice that these ear buds are ONLY for listening. There is no microphone or method to answer calls. Instructions are very poor and a bit misleading. You must install the free app in order to set up the button functionality. That being said, one of the most handy features is the ability to assign 3 different commands to each ear [they can be the same if you wish].There is no real “fit” to these ear buds. They kind of ‘dangle’ in the ear. I believe they’ll stay put with medium activity, but that’s for someone else to evaluate. Finally, audio quality is reasonably good. You can choose from an equalizer type of tone set up or from a list of various music genres. If you get the initial reduced price [coupon], it’s a decent deal.UPDATE: Anker quickly responded back to me with apologies, corrections and an offer to refund me for my purchase.I found out that these ear buds DO support voice phone calls !!Further, the owner’s manual that comes with them is incorrect & incomplete.Anker sent me an updated PDF manual that fully addresses all of the capabilities.I’ve increased the stars to 4 from 3. The only reason for not giving them a 5 is for the “dangling” style as opposed to the “in-the-ear” type of ear buds. They’re not for everyone, but definitely worth a try. Might just take a little getting used to them … 🙂

My new favorite
If you like Open-Ear, these are an affordable option and from what I can tell, totally fine for the job. I’m not an audio-phile but the sound quality is good for some standard background music and/or spoke word podcast listening. I can hear people around me with no difficulty at all, and I often forget that I am wearing them.Compared to the recent v30i that I also have, I will note that the battery rating is shorter, although I have never really noticed much of a difference. I have not really tested wearing them constantly with music for 8+ hours but I imagine these are plenty good enough for most people. They do have multi-point, which the v30i does not.The base is smaller and thinner, but does not “connect” independently from what I can tell. They are just a folding charging base for the earphones. There is no capability to find the case from what I can tell.Overall, very happy with the purchase and they are current favorite.

subdued
Well, I had some Voesud, Toza and Famoo hooked headphones for a year and a half. All 3 failed to charge their right side reliably after a few months. The Famoo were the best, they had a button! A real button! More on the button later. But, sometimes, they wouldn’t charge. I’ve learned that this style needs to charge with its case right side up and I need to shake them to make sure the earpiece is settled in the charger against the charging prongs. In 3 weeks, I’ve not had a charging problem with these Ankers but none of the others had their problems for a few months, maybe something in the contacts oxidizes? Dunno. What I do know is that the sound of these was more soothing and smilier than the Famoos. That’s my best audiophile language, “smilier”. I was really disappointed when these arrived and they had a sensor, not a button. The sensor worked for 3 weeks until yesterday. All I ever asked it to do was to pause and to restart; to shut up and to resume. The instructions say 2 sensor presses to pause and to resume. Two presses worked until it didn’t. It started taking 3 presses. It seemed to need a poke in the ribs to make it pay attention before it could respond. But yesterday, it wouldn’t react at all to presses. Those Famoos with their buttons worked reliably every time with commands until I got exasperated with the Chinglish voice telling me to charge the right side. What is it that makes designers think that capacitance sensors will work better than a mechanical switch? The pretty glowing blue light? Oh yeah, these have lights, I’d forgotten. Maybe it is the lights that make designers like capacitance sensors. Does anyone over age 7 use the lights? My title, “Subdued”, I thought this review would be about their disappointing volume. I went to the new Y yesterday. It’s a warehouse building with a high noise floor. Sort of a Y-Mart. These were not loud enough. The roars of “Retching Dog”, “Moon Pillow” and “Itchy Crane” from the Yoga room ruined my music. I made sure they were twisted so they pointed directly at my ear canal and that helped, some. They’re loud enough elsewhere. Until they weren’t. It is now 10 weeks I’ve had these. They are no longer loud enough. The volume has faded even further. Is marginal volume the secret of long battery life?

Excellent Headphone
These headphones are very comfortable and sit on top of your ear canal opening rather than inside. I found my old AirPods would start to irritate my ear canal openings after a while, as well as cause my psoriasis to flare. This has not been a problem with these headphones. Sound quality is excellent and I have had no issues with the battery life while listening to my audiobooks. I recommend these headphones!
