A lot of information heretofor unseen.
This is more of a biography of Philip Vincent and the history of his motorcycle manufacturing business. Record breaking outings, interviews with family and some factory workers. The results of the 1947 motorcycle crash that affected Phil Vincent’s mind in later years. The only downer was much of the video presented was intentionally marred, possibly to protect the rights to the original footage? However, a must-see for any Vincent enthusiast.

Great Nostalgic Compilation of the Life & Times of Philip Vincent
Even though living the motorcycle life for over 15 years and travelled to many rallies throughout the good ol’ US of A, I was familiar with the life and times of Philip Vincent as I collected many of the marque’s available books on the subject throughout that time. This DVD compiles a massed collection of video and old movie film to make a nostalgic journey through his humble life and the remarkable machine he was able to assemble, with world record speed records as a result. A must have addition to a Vincent rider’s video library.

Speed may be expensive, but the movie was a bargain
Excellent documentary about what many people consider the world‘s most beautiful motorcycle. The film takes a deep dive into Philip Vincent’s life and the development of his famous motorcycles. In addition, great historical videos and images, especially of Rollie Free and his amazing Bonneville Salt flat speed run. Highly recommended for fans of motorcycles and mechanical art.

I have been a Vincent enthusiast for decades and an owner for a number of years. This production adds a personal note to alot of what went on behind the scenes. More than just model names, production figures and technical data.
