Nice taste, convenient packaging, dilute more depending on your taste preference, no ill effects
I consider hydration extremely important and always look for good and tasty solutions. The taste of this mix is good (although I wouldn’t call it crave-able). I like that the directions suggest alternative dilutions to your taste. The basic dilution is one scoop in 16 ounces which I found acceptable but too strong. Next I tried 20 ounces and that was better. Finally I tried 24 ounces of water for one scoop which was my preference (your mileage may vary). The packaging seems well designed from a functional standpoint. A scoop is included and the width of the open top is very wide which makes it easy to get a scoop even as you get to the bottom. I’ll add one more silly detail on the packaging. Like many containers after you take off the lid there is a safety seal glued down to seal the contents. This has a small tab which makes it easy to pull off the seal in one easy move…nice touch.

A Complete Combination of Vitamins and Minerals for Hydration
Sports Research Hydrate Powder has a lot to recommend it. It’s a great, complete combination of vitamins and minerals without any added unnatural ingredients. I also like that for daily home use it comes in a handsome tub with a miniature scoop. The powder dissolves instantly. However, I find the lemon-lime flavor to be a bit cloying in both 10 ounces of water or more diluted at 16 ounces, and whether it’s at room temperature or refrigerated/iced.

    Works well and tastes good
This Sports Research Hydrate Electrolytes Powder is tasty. One scoop dissolved reasonably well into 16 oz of room temp water, so if you were using cold water it might take a bit more effort to get it to dissolve well. At 1 scoop to 16 oz, I found the flavor a bit strong for my tastes, but when I put it at 1 scoop for 20 oz it was just right for me, but I’m also someone what waters down juices so it might be fine for you.I really like the balance of electrolytes and other things in it. A lot don’t have enough sodium for my body (I’m a sweater), but this helps replenish so I don’t feel so tired or at cramp risk.I also like that this is in a tub so I can make up some before I leave the house. The individual packets you can get are nice for on the go, when feel wasteful when at home.

Electrolyte powder tastes good and has good ingredients, but doesn’t dissolve well
I like the flavor of the passion fruit variety and the ingredient list is good though less than the powder I have been using for a while. I had a hard time getting the powder to fully dissolve in a glass. It’s better in a water bottle where you can give it a vigorous shake. Bonus points for being made in the USA as I really don’t trust Chinese made supplements.

    Salty, metallic taste
I don’t like that there’s so much sodium in this beverage. I also don’t like the metallic and somewhat bitter aftertaste. I would not recommend.

One of the better rehydrators I’ve tried
So, just got this and I’m enamored already. Tried it this out this morning. It’s a very fine powder and it incorporates fully at the recommended size of scoop and water (again: props to them for including a scoop). The taste is good — not overly sweet, but a bit tart in line with the lemon flavor. It’s not overly salty but can leave a bit of a salty mouthfeel after finishing that’s normal with these powders. I really enjoyed it and will look at this brand’s other offerings — it’s a quick hit for me.

    Checks all the right boxes
I appreciate that this Sports Research Hydrate Electrolytes Powder is naturally flavored and sugar free. For me the taste is pretty good. I did not find it overly salty at normal concentration (1 scoop ~300ml water). There are no artificial colors, which is a pet peeve of mine… no need to make the drink neon, I’m not looking for a visual masterpiece :-)I’m giving 5 stars because it has what I like in an electrolyte powered without being too salty, and with a good taste.

    Tastes like lime fruit loops!
I like the taste, but it was a little difficult to get to dissolve sometimes. I like that it includes a little scoop for measuring, a little scoop goes a long way for flavor.
