They Definitely Lowered My Electric Bill
I’ve read the reviews, and there’s some that claim it’s a scam. I’m currently using the older models in my home, and I thought I might try these newer ones to see how they compare. The older models cut my electric bill in half. We went from paying $600+ per month, to max $350 per month for the past two years. Those who claim it’s a scam probably didn’t install them like recommended. Or, like one guy I know, just flat out said they won’t lower the bill, without even trying them! There are also people working for the power companies that try to convince everyone its fake. As cheap as these devices are, it is foolish not to try them, and decide for yourself! Follow the installation instructions because placement is important. I noticed the first review, by Rogstad says he/she placed them around over their home. The instructions state to place them as close to where power comes into the home as possible. I take it that’s the outlets closest to the breaker box, or in my case breaker boxes. The instructions now include a chart for how many is recommended for different size homes. My home, including detached garage is 3900 square feet, so I’m using several spaced out, but the first three as close to the breaker boxes as possible. I bought a box of twelve so I could give them as Christmas gifts; at around $3 each, why not?

TLDR it’s a SCAM, also unsafe!
I bought this pretty much knowing it was a scam, but I wanted to have the product in hand before giving a review. First thing I notice is that it is not UL listed. Yikes. That means if this thing catches fire and burns your house down, insurance won’t pay out. Also notice it’s quite lightweight. Big spark upon plugging it in, so that lack of UL certification is looking real good right now. It made no noise, a faint burning smell, and the LED on the front faintly lit up. So I unplugged it and decided it’s time to open it up and see this groundbreaking technology they talk about in the listing. Luckily there is a screw under the sticker on the back, making opening the device easy. No surprise to me, there is no components inside that would do anything to change your electric bill. There is some basic components to step 120v down to run the LED light on the front and that’s it. So in conclusion, confirmed scam, they are selling you a bulky dim night light and lying to you. It also is not safe, and if it starts a fire your insurance will not cover the damages due to a lack of valid UL certification. I will return this item now to get my money back.

Great electric bills
I have put one of these on every appliance, tv, battery charger, anything that needs electricity. My bills went from around $100 a month to $40 a month. This is legitimate!

TOO SOON TO TELL OR NO DIFFERENCE “YET”
After installing 22 of these “Stop Watt” Energy Saving Devices, making sure both L1 & L2 circuits had an even number of “STOP WATT” devices but I have not noticed any difference in the first full months electric bill. I am hoping for better results next month – but I am not going to hold my breath. This was one of those things that sounded good and had some science behind it – but so far “No Difference.”
