Great exerciser, slides slightly on hardwood floors
This is a great little exerciser, but I recommend using it on carpet. It tends to slide slighty around on hardwood floors unless a non slip rug mat is used. I use it for therapy after foot surgery and it really helps. The price was also less expensive than most as well. I recommend it if you want a simple and efficient exerciser.

Poor instructions, need additional tools to assemble
Overall, Iâm happy with this product. It is very sturdy and works as it should. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is that I had trouble assembling it. The issue was that I could not detach the left pedal from the left nut. After a lot of frustration, time and energy, I eventually found out that the left pedal is REVERSE THREADED, so you have to turn the left nut to the right to detach it from the left pedal. This crucial information is not in the instruction manual, and the right pedal is threaded normally, so it wasnât immediately obvious. Once I knew about the reverse threading, the peddle exerciser was relatively easy to assemble. However, I did not think the two spanners provided in the box were sufficient. I also needed to use a wrench and pliers.

Not effective
I bought this to try and get some extra exercise working my desk job. However, it cannot be used under a desk – your knees will come up and hit your desk, and you definitely can’t use it in a chair that has wheels. Even when not being used at a desk, the unit is unstable because it is so light weight. When pedaling I find the unit lifts up and shifts around.Overall terrible experience with this product, would not recommend.

Very happy with it. Easy assembly. Quiet, and is perfect for me since I am house bound most of the time. I use it a few times a day.

Not smooth
This machine is built well on the outside, but it does not have a smooth pedal flow. Even at the lowest number of tension, it was not smooth and had a choppy feel. It also moved around the floor a lot when pedaling. Be prepared to find something heavy to help keep it stable. Not for me.

Didn’t work for us
This item was easy to put together and use except we had to return it because the person we bought it for could not use it properly. His feet are in the large size, Size 10, and could not fit them in the straps and move the pedals. Also, his being a big guy, had a problem keeping the bike firmly on the ground and pedaled rather haphazardly. The bike is made good but he couldn’t utilize it correctly.
