Great survival bag – just wish it could dual as a backpack
This is a nice quality bag that is small and very portable. All the tools fit inside nicely. My only wish is that the bag could be worn as a backpack. I ended up taking a strap from another bag and turning it into a backpack.

Mediocre at Best
This is a collection of stuff for casual use at best. None of it is high quality material. Some of the stuff, like a mylar blanket and a piece of firesteel are always good to have on-hand, with other things are are pretty low grade in quality. The knife-spork I received had the spork covered in corrosion which does not exactly give me a lot of faith in the long-term viability of the thing. The steel on the knives is not of a grade which is going to hold a fine edge, or last through a lot of use. The axe-multitool is a gimmick of the worst sort. The biggest thing you are going to successfully “chop” with this are twigs. The “shovel” isn’t much better; the threading is shallow and the plastic nut is very cheap as well. It might be useful in repotting…Nothing in the “med kit” is superior, and you are better off buying small components of better quality and assembling your own. That stuff should NEVER be done on the cheap. There is not enough included paracord to really be worth messing with here, and I suspect from a quick inspection it is of the lowest grade as well.I will say that the multitude of whistles work…The bag could have been a lot more useful if it had a better internal pocket system to store everything. As it is, you open the pack and you get a flood of plastic-bags tumbling out. Re-stashing after unpacking is a pain, especially after you open a few pieces.Overall, you really can do a LOT better for not much more by putting together your own kit selecting quality gear yourself.
