I bought this kit to learn the basics of sushi making along with my 13 year old grandson. We both love sushi. This kit was very easy to use — perfect for a grandma and teenager without experience. We tried different ingredients and found combinations that we liked. Definitely need to use stickier rice, but the bazooka tool worked as described. We had fun making memories. There is a tip that says to place clear plastic wrap over the bamboo mats before using them. We did not, and it made it difficult to clean the rice from between the bamboo sticks. So, I would recommend the plastic wrap which we will be doing next time. It took a couple of times of practice, but even our mistakes tasted really good.
