Great tablet, very good protection against toddlers!
This is a great tablet for the price (I paid approximately $100). It is snappy and responsive, booting in about 20 seconds and launching apps like PBS Kids in just a couple of seconds. It has a good amount of storage for downloading apps and videos for offline viewing. I really appreciate the fact that it comes with both a screen protector (pre-installed. Whoever did it knows what they are doing as there were no bubbles) and a padded case that has a handle / foldable stand. The case is very durable, my son has already dropped it like 3 times and so far the actual tablet itself has not sustained any damage. My only wish is that the case had a cover for the exposed USB charging port, as I could see my son dumping a beverage over and some of it getting in that port. The parental controls are super easy to use with the google kids space application. A good value tablet than I think any child will enjoy.

Perfect for children and it comes with case and screen protector
So i bought this for my nephew and i wanted to test it out prior to letting him use it to see how the UI worked and the response time. This has about 8gb of RAM which is what the minimum of a gaming pc has to play games and the UI is very responsive. I had an Samsung Tab A7 lite and that has less than half of the RAM this one has and cost about the same. The UI response time for the samsung tablet is soo slow that just having two application on it would make it freeze. This tablet is not only faster but has a huge storage for apps, pictures, or any thing you want to store on it. Compare to most tablets of the same price that are for general use and not just for kids, this one is fairly faster than the rest. The only complaint i have is removing the case for it might need require some force but if you don’t plan on removing the tablet from the case, i wouldn’t worry about it.

Reasonably priced tablet for kids.
This tablet performs quite well. I had no trouble with the processor or wifi keeping up with video from YouTube nor any of the kids apps I tried. I added a 64GB microSD card I had extra and it worked just fine. I added a camera app that allowed camera storage on SD storage and several of the apps can store their media files on SD device as well. I have quite a number of apps installed and movies/videos/music/pictures stored on SD card. Everything we want is loaded, I am using 21GB of the 64GB internal memory and 23GB of the 64GB microSD card. Plenty of space for more as time goes by. The tablet responds well to touch and the speed is totally acceptable with 8GB of RAM and the Octa-Core processor. Battery life is rated 12 hours and I used it quite a while installing and setting up the system and apps, then testing. I only ran the battery down from the 82% it had when originally turned on to 62% when I had finished everything. The tablet even has a 2 year warranty instead of the more common 1 year. The only caveat I have found is that there were a couple of very light scratches in the glass when we opened the tablet. The scratches are however not visible when the product is on and when off you really don’t hardly see them unless the light reflection is just right. My fear is that the surface might scratch easier than some others, but the price was good and even the best of tablets probably has a limited life in the hands of little kids.I gave this product the 4-star rating only because of the light scratches in the glass, in all other respects it was a 5-star purchase.
