Great bottle for any outdoor use
I use this bottle for work and outdoor trips. It’s perfect for such occasions because the spout lid prevents germs and debris from getting on the mouthpiece or in the bottle. Functionally, the bottle holds a good amount of water, keeps it cold for hours, and has never once leaked on me; I’ve used Takeya for over a year now and have had no problems thus far. The color is also exactly what I was looking for – everyone who sees it compliments the hot pink color! Besides the color, the best feature of this bottle for me was the ice guard. I use crushed ice and the ice guard helps keep the ice inside the bottle so that I don’t have to worry about swallowing ice chunks if I need to take medication or just want smooth cold water. I highly recommend this bottle or any other from Takeya. Great value, great quality.

I have Yetis and Stanley cups and I prefer this Takeya over all of them! It keeps the ice for 24 hours, hasa convenient handle, and I love the fact that the mouth spout has a cover! For me, that’s the best part! Genius cap design as far as I’m concerned. I bought 2 more. They make excellent gifts!!!!

Beautiful, sturdy, great insulation
I had another water bottle of the same brand that I bought years ago, and I loved it. This one is even better. It’s better insulated, I love the matte finish, and the ice blocker works great! As to the insulation, I put ice in it in the morning, had it in the hot car for a long time while shopping, and came out to find the water still chilled with ice in it. In fact, there was still a little ice remaining that night. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the silicone O ring under the lid arrived damaged, though it’s still functional. I got the 40 oz black water bottle. I’m sure this one will last many years as my previous one did.

I swear by Takeya
I’ve been using Takeya bottles for over 7 years now and I will continue using them. When I say that this bottle will keep your water cold, it will be COLD! If you add ice cubes, you’ll probably get a brain freeze. I’ve never had a bad experience with Takeya bottles.

Sturdy and pretty color
I don’t know why anyone wants those cups with the handles and straws. I personally do not like having to hold up a cup everywhere I go and this lil guy lets me strap it to my backpack, belt loop, or fanny pack with a carabineer if I don’t want to carry. I can toss it sideways in the footwell of my car and not worry about spillage. I have dropped it numerous times with no dent or paint damage (although I’m sure it might happen some day) And the color is so bright and flashy!! Looks great with stickers (btw stickers look terrible on those glorified metal mugs with the handles, just awful, nobody wants that)I like that the gaskets are removable for easy washing. The rim is wide to fit lots of ice cubes.I only replaced my 11 year old takeya model just like this for cosmetic reasons (I was bored and needed a new sticker canvas) I can’t wait to run this one into the ground for another decade of memories. I like that the kids are the same color now, when I bought mine they were all black.

But I do. Itâs just a freaking water bottle but itâs nice to hold, works well to keep water cool even when itâs in my car in 37°C weather, and the lid doesnât whack you in the nose when you drink from it. A clear winner.
