An amazing Guide, essential and practical!
We recently bought *The First Time Dad Survival Guide* as a gift for our young nephew, who is expecting his first child, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The book is incredibly practical and covers almost every aspect of this journey. What we loved most was how approachable and down-to-earth the advice is. It doesnât just tell you what to do but also helps you feel more confident and prepared. Our nephew found it to be very useful. We read it too, and it was not only insightful but also reassuring. Itâs clear, compassionate, and full of practical tips that make the journey into fatherhood a little less daunting. Highly recommended for any soon-to-be dads!

A Great Resource for Parents
Sure, this book focuses on Fathers, but the advice is valid for any person expecting a newborn, or young person.Whether or not the expecting father outwardly expresses nervousness, this is an important guide to understand what to do with a newborn; and with the emotions that come along with it. As the father of two newborns 15 years ago (this is my wife’s Amazon account), I would have found a lot of comfort if I had this book as a resource. There are SO many things I didn’t know that this book answers. It is a relatively quick read and a great resource to prepare you, and then re-visit during those early child development milestones.

Great book full of practical and real life advice
I bought this for my son who’s 1st baby will be born on Oct. 1st. As a mother of 3 myself, I find this helpful not only for the father’s but with 1st time mother’s also. It will help to learn and manage their new lives into parenthood. While mothers are supposed to have that natural instinct of child rearing, some are not as naturally apt at the 180 degree change in their lives but also the lives of their partners aka fathers’ new role as protector, provider and also most important “FATHER”. I found this book will be beneficial for both parents in different ways to hopefully transition into their new roles with a better sense of ease and common sense on daily needs and upcoming changes that occur when raring a precious new baby.Kudos to H. Gray for writing this awesome book.

I loved this book for first time Dads. It covers so many aspects of being a father and can only be a great source of info at what could be a challenging time especially now that we no longer live amongst an extended family full of generational wisdom.

A Necessary Resource for New Dads
I wish I had this one last year! Our first child is 17 months old now, so some of the content in here is too late to apply (though I look forward to referencing this again next time). In either case, this book is filled with great tips and actionable advice for fathers as they seek to be the best overall. I read through all the content and now am going back through chapter-by-chapter to really solidify an action plan going forward. Thanks to the great layout of the book and the actionable insights, I know I’ll be referencing this for years to come.

Being a first time dad to a 10-month-old boy is very stressful and ight i say scary. However this book has been helpful in navigating the ups and downs of fatherhood and preparing for what’s to come in the near future. . This book is comprehensive, down-to-earth guide and provides practical advice, relatable anecdotes, and gives me a sense that i don’t have to live up to crazy expectations that I have put on myself. The author’s writing style is engaging and easy to follow, making it accessible even during those late-night crying sessions when your brain feels like it’s running on fumes. The book makes you realize the aspects of uncertainty and anxiety that often accompany first-time fatherhood; but reassures you that it is normal and how to manage it.The book is structured in a way that addresses various stages and challenges of early fatherhood, from the prenatal phase to the first year of your child’s life. Each chapter is filled with practical tips and advice. The survival tips are particularly helpful, offering clear, actionable steps that can make a real difference in everyday situations.
