Easier than scissors, safer than a cutting blade
I like how easy it makes cutting a full sheet off a wrapping paper. After I measure how large of sheet of paper is needed, I position the notch where the cut needs to begin, slip the cylinder cutter over one end of the roll, then push it across. Swoosh ⦠a nice clean sheet, no jagged edges.The only problem is I often only need a sheet thatâs half the length of the roll, so I still have to pull out the scissors.Iâve also begun using gift bags more often than wrapping paper, for the sake of the environment. Wrapping paper is single use, but gift bags are reusable. I donât know about you, but I save the gift bags that I receive and re-gift them to someone else. Sometimes even the tissue can be salvaged and reused 😉

Simple to use and makes the job easy
I love the simplicity of use and how easy it is to cleanly cut the wrapping paper. Definitely a must have for wrapping lots of presents.

Cut is smooth but a little hard to do a straight cut
The blade (though haven’t used during holiday season yet, only for several gift wrappings) is nice and sharp so there is no bunching up or tearing of paper when you slide this across the gift wrap roll. However because it does cut so easily, I have personally had a little trouble making the cut straight (it tends to at an angle for me). Maybe with many consecutive cuts I’ll get the hang of it, will find out this holiday season. But definitely beats the heck out of using scissors!
