Perfect Sleep Sack for Winter
This is the second Little Spud sleep sack we have tried, and we love it! Just like the other sleep sack we have from this brand, it’s so soft. This is definitely a sleep sack designed for winter. It’s very thick, so I don’t think it would be very comfortable other than in winter; but you won’t have to worry about your little one being cold in this! Despite the weight, it does still feel pretty breathable, which is good, too.As far as size goes, the sizing feels like what I expected. It’s snug while I also don’t have to worry about his feet being cramped with the extra room at the bottom of the sleep sack. The larger arm holes actually make it easier to get on and off. I think the arm holes could be just a bit smaller, but I didn’t think it was enough to warrant knocking off a star.Overall, highly recommend! Perfect summer sleep sack, and plenty of room to grow and will be super cozy come wintertime.

nice material, very roomy
I have 3 little ones (oldest now 6 years, youngest 16 months) and raised 2 as a nanny prior to my own. This is a good sleep sack. It is nicely room in the legs for a little one who kicks around, but it is full enough around the body that the child won’t be swimming in it. Careful, though, about size, and be aware what you are buying when you get it. I bought this for an expected little one not yet here to dress, but when I saw how big it was when it arrived, I put my son in it to sleep. This is the size small, for a child 0-6 months. He is 16 months. The arms of course are too small, but he fits in it everywhere else. So, just be aware of its full roominess when you order.

I love this sleep sack but..
The sleep sack was beautifully packaged and felt exquisitely made. I got the 6-12 months for my 7 month old, 17lb baby and it swallowed him. I had to roll the sleeves three times and often his arms would get lost inside the sleeper. (Which is HORRIBLE for a finger sucker!! Oh the drama!!) We keep our bedroom around 62 degrees so I put a onesie on him under the sleep sack. I checked him in the middle of the night and his body was freezing..especially his feet. Surprisingly his face and hands never get cold!!! He absolutely HATES being hot so there’s that. Anyway, I suppose it’ll be good if I put a sleeper on underneath like we did with his 1.0 TOG Woombie. The Spud is literally so dreamy. So soft, cushiony, extremely well-made and the bottom buttons are a middle of the night diaper change gamechanger. Unfortunately after only using it for less than a week, I found a kink in the zipper teeth near his neck. It was during the night because when i turned him over to change him, the whole zipper was open. I have no idea how it happened. So the zipper couldn’t be opened..and fortunately I could get it over his head so I wouldn’t have to destroy it to get it off. Though I really loved it, I think I’ll lean into something warmer like wool. But definitely check this one out!

This is a high quality, well-made item that will help baby to transition out of swaddling. These wearable blankets give the hips the room they need but cannot be kicked off leaving baby cold. This item has detachable sleeves (they have literally thought of everything) and has safe, covered zips and smooth snaps all along the bottom making it easy to change your baby. The material that tops this quilted item and the material that faces your baby is like a teeshirt material so very comfortable. It is recommended to put it in a wash bag and wash on gentle. The whole item is 100% cotton so very absorbent. This does not come with a specific guide for temperatures but it does state that it is for use in “chilly” weather/rooms.

Very high quality sleep sack that I wish came in adult sizes
Yes, I want one of these for myself. This super soft sleep sack feels like a sleeping bag for baby, but so much better. It’s made of 100% organic cotton, is thick, multi layered and quilted, with smooth snaps and a reverse zip on the bottom, and removable sleeves. I especially love the attention to detail – the double stitching, the interior zipper guard and a zipper cover at the top, and smooth snaps that match the color of the fabric.The sleep sack I ordered was sized from 0-6 (small); measuring 30″ long and 26″ across the back, finger tip to fingertip which gives baby plenty of growing room. The sack part of the sleep sack is generously sized too with plenty of room for active feet. Overall, a very well designed garment that is perfect for keeping baby warm when the weather is chilly.
