Special needs
I ordered this helmet for my adopted special needs son who has self harming behaviors. He seems to like the feeling of having the helmet on, and it reduces his compulsion to hit himself. He also looks very cute in it.

The 5 star is for the Helmet
This was such an excellent buy for the helmet alone! My very mobile and accident-prone eight-month-old uses the helmet every day! It has prevented some bumps to the head; the little one isn’t even phased and keeps going. He doesn’t mind having it on his head once it’s on. It can also adjust to different-sized heads, which is a plus. As for the knee pads, they are a bit tight on my son’s chunky baby legs. I was worried they were cutting off circulation, so I took them off immediately and haven’t used them since. If your little one has thinner legs, then they might work better.

Love it! Only thing I would say is that they need to improve the way that the a little straps get attached the velcro can start to rub against the chest or under the chin.

Awkward on baby
I didnât really care for this. She wore it maybe 2xs. I feel like it was too big on her (sheâs 8 months) and kinda wasnât as fitted as I had hoped. Def wasnât worth the money in my opinion.

Would have every child wear one when learning to stand
I cut the chin strap off, sometimes if he fell and the helmet went backwards, the strap would end up around his neck.When it’s removed, the helmet works great. The little leg protectors don’t stay on my son’s legs very well, even over pants. But the helmet has literally saved us trips to the ER and anyone who has seen him with it says “good thing he has that hat on..” after seeing him fall repeatedly trying to stand/walk/climb. I have him wear it when I put him on a tiny bike, too. I think it’s good to prepare him for a bike helmet.

Work perfectly! My baby was falling on her face constantly onto the hardwood floor leaving a constantly bruised four head. This has been such a peace of mind in letting her explore the world while protecting her head. The knee pads work great as well!

I didnât come with the knee pads I like it because it looks a good combo, the helmet itâs good but really disappointed that the knee pads were not in my package.I paid for them itâs no fair to not get them ð
