The Tapo Contact Sensor T110 enhances home security by providing real-time notifications when doors or windows are unexpectedly opened, allowing immediate action. It offers versatile functionality, as it can trigger other Tapo smart devices, like lights or cameras, through programmable Smart Actions. To operate, the T110 requires the Tapo Hub H100, which connects up to 64 sensors via the Sub-1G Low-Power Wireless protocol, ensuring extended battery life and wider coverage. The hub also includes a 90dB ringer with 19 tones and supports Smart Actions even without network access, ensuring a responsive and reliable system. *Note: This device operates exclusively within the specified Sub-1G band. Please note that different regions support different frequency bands. Ensure that the devices or hubs you intend to use are compatible with the same Sub-1G band.
REQUIRES Tapo Hub-To utilize Tapo contact sensor T110, a Tapo hub H100 (sold separately) and a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network connection are required. Tapo T110 communicates with the hub via the Sub-1G Low-Power Wireless protocol, which provides extended battery life for the sensor and a wider coverage area compared to Wi-Fi. The Tapo Hub H100 can connect up to 64 sensors simultaneously and includes a 90dB ringer with 19 different ringing tones. The Tapo Hub also enables the use ofSmart Action for sensors and other Tapo devices even when the network is disconnected and is highly responsive.
Go Beyond Just Doors and Windows- The device provides real-time monitoring of windows, doors, cabinets, fridges, mailboxes, and other items that can be opened or closed.
Real-Time Notification- If a door or window is opened unexpectedly, you will receive instant alerts on your phone. You can also program the Hub to activate a siren as a warning in the event of danger or to deter intruders.
Smart Action- Tapo T110 serves as a common precondition for Smart Actions. You can program your Smart Contact Sensor to turn lights on or off, or to disable your Tapo security camera when a door is opened.
Long-Lasting Performance- Assuming triggers of less than 30 times per day, the device can operate for up to 2 years using only a single CR2032 battery, which is included.
Easy Installation- Easily mount the device to nearly any surface using the included 3M adhesive.

Excellent, Reliable Door Sensor!
I recently installed the TP-Link Tapo Door Sensor, and itâs been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup! The installation was incredibly easy, taking just a few minutes to attach it to my doorframe. The sensor is compact, discreet, and works flawlessly with the Tapo app, providing instant notifications every time the door opens or closes. One of the standout features is the real-time alerts, which give me peace of mind whether Iâm at home or away. The app is super user-friendly, and I love that it integrates seamlessly with other Tapo devices in my home. Itâs also very energy-efficient, and the battery life seems great so far.For anyone looking for an affordable and reliable smart door sensor, the TP-Link Tapo is a perfect choice. Itâs given me that extra layer of security I was looking for, and I couldnât be happier with the performance! Highly recommended!

Love these sensors.
We got this these sensors are precaution. I didnât want to get something that made noise because our baby is still small but did wanât something to warn me when a door/window was opened and it does just that perfectly. The fact that everything is time stamped on the app is a plus!

Love it.
This is awesome. The only one of it’s kind. Made my mom’s pantry light work like a refrigerator light. Had to pair it with a tappo switch and the tappo H100 hub. Kinda sucks I needed the hub but it was cheap. I’m very happy with it.

Way better than the WiFi ones I had before
Had some Wifi door sensors before and went through aaa batteries like it was having them for lunch. Plus it took a good 40 seconds to wake up and send signal that the door is open. I thought I did want to a hub now I realise using sensors with a hub save me money on batteries plus local actions make it a a big plus if the internet is down. The cost of having the hub plugged in is less than buying batteries. Using these sensors, there is no wake up time as the signal is instant almost comparable to a wired sensor. Too early to tell how long the battery will last but so far so good

Like all TP-link products, it’s difficult to get it up and running
Like all TP-Link products, it’s hard to get it up and running. There are a lot of programming “steps” that you discover only after the fact and after you visit tech support. Fortunately, their tech support is excellent. The challenge in dealing with tech support isn’t the people, it is the clumsy way they are forced to gather information. I’m not a techie, I am lost when I am asked to upload screen shots of my phone to some wormhole application so they can figure out where I have gone wrong. Is this really the best a tech company can do?I’m serious, if the tech support guy I worked had not been so patient and talented, this would be on it’s way back to Amazon and I’d be finding a solution to my problem with some other brand.Once it’s up and running, it’s pretty good stuff. But without a good tech support they’d be out of business.By the way, opening the door to reset the sensor (or replace the battery) is really, really, really hard. The video doesn’t nearly demonstrate how hard it is.
