Great home security camera
I was very hesitant to buy a security camera because I was worried about connection issues and lagging. But this camera works amazingly. The app works really well and I’m able to monitor my house while I’m at work. My family is also able to access the camera all the way from the Philippines. Because of my job, sometimes it’s really hard to reach me so they can turn on the app from their phones and check to see if I’m awake or if I’m at home. They can even talk to me through the camera but the sound is really grainy. The night vision also works well. I feel like having the camera helps ease our minds over my safety since they’re so far away from me and to see if the house is secured.Overall, a really great investment. Worth the money and the wait.

Great quality camera
Fantastic camera especially for the price. This is a great value security/baby/nanny camera. The picture quality is amazing for both daytime and night vision along with volume controlled audio. The Tapo app makes it very easy and convenient to view a live feed, playback previous recordings and control the camera remotely. With just a tap in the app, users can adjust the camera angle 360 degrees horizontally and 114 degrees vertically. The motion detection is extremely precise. The moment motion is detected, a notification is sent immediately to your phone. One of my favorite features is the ability to enter and exit privacy mode from within the app. This allows the user to discontinue camera recording and turn it back on remotely which is helpful for when the camera is not needed. The only drawback I have seen with this camera is that there is a 30 day free trial to their cloud based recording platform. After this trial, users must subscribe to “Tapo Care” otherwise the camera will stop recording. Users can still use an external memory card or view the live feed without this subscription. There are monthly and yearly plans starting at $3.49/month for 1 device which I feel is reasonable. Overall, this is a great quality camera and very affordable. Definitely worth the purchase.

High quality image at a great price!
I purchased this so I could see what my dog is doing while Iâm out and about. The image quality is superb and even in the dark you can see everything clearly. Set up was easy. The APP interface is great and provides several viewing/alert options. I didnât use a SD card or sign up for a subscription. Highly recommend.

Cameras are good – software could use some tweaking
Title says a lot. I’m very pleased with this camera. In fact, I got two. They’re a fantastic upgrade on a couple of cameras that were probably 10 years old. Picture quality, sound quality – all good. They were easy to set up. But … the app used to control them is not as intuitive or well made. I’ve made a couple of settings for example, that will hold for a day or so, then revert back to default. And I’d love a routine where I could set the alarms and notifications for certain times. The alarms and notifications work great. But I don’t need them 100 percent of the time. Mostly just at night. But the software doesn’t account for that. Otherwise, pretty happy.

Budget camera from top company
Bought 5 cameras in total in the last few months for my business and home, so far they have all worked perfectly.The cameras all arrived in their original packaging, sealed and with all their accessories. The product in general is excellent, although the material is plastic it feels of very good quality and with refined finishes. Installation in general is simple but this also depends on the location where you want it.The interface is very solid, adding the cameras to the Tapo App was very simple, configuring them has also been very simple. We have tried the free 30 days of Tapo Care, which allows us to see all the events recorded by the camera. This without a doubt has been what I liked the most since with a conventional DVR system the search for events in 24-hour recordings becomes quite tedious and with Tapo Care I only have to worry about seeing the events that the camera has recorded when it has detected movement.In general Iâm very satisfied with the product. I plan to continue purchasing more cameras in the coming months to cover areas that need my attention at home and in my business. Worth every penny.

For the price this thing is very good. First one I received had install connection trouble so needed to be returned after speaking with their customer support. Took a chance and bought another and it hooked up easy and works amazing for the price. Easily controlled through app and easy to turn on and off notifications. This isnât fancy meant for indoors-

We absolutely LOVE this camera. We got it to primarily use as a pet cam. We have had it for about a month now and it has given us such peace of mind to be able to watch our pets when we arenât home and know theyâre OK.The camera was SUPER easy to set up and very simple to use. We love the pan feature and how much of a space can be viewed by the camera. We also love the âcallâ and âtalkâ features although we having had to use them much so far.In addition, the picture is very clear! We canât believe how affordable a camera of this quality was. Donât hesitate to buy this if youâre looking for a good indoor home camera!

I wasn’t sure how good quality this camera was going to be, but I decided to give it a shot. I’ve been using it for 8 weeks and so far I’m impressed.It’s a very easy set up, and you just have download their app to use it. The video isn’t HD or anything, but you can clearly see everhthing. I can see when the dog walker comes in which is a huge bonus. The video has sound and you can talk to your pet through the video if you choose. The camera moves around via the app and has a 360° view. The app will also notify you if there’s motion detected.For $5/month (sometimes cheaper when they have promos) you can get a package where the video records every time there’s movement. So if you don’t get a chance to see the live video, you have the option of viewing the recording later. I think this is definitely worth the monthly fee.All in all, Tapo is a very decent pet camera and I would be happy to recommend it to any friends!

Por experiencia, no solo es comprar cámara porque es barata, lo mas importante es comprar una marca reconocida que sabes que es reconocida porque eso te asegura que te están ofreciendo calidad, soporte y actualizaciones, de nada sirve una cámara barata pero que la marca no brinde actualizaciones.En este caso, la marca TP Link es una marca muy buena que tienen otros productos que te ofrecen muy buena tecnologÃa.Yo elegà esta marca porque dentro de la misma App no solamente puedo agregar la cámara, si no que también puedo añadir diferentes tipos de sensores, de movimiento, de puerta y ventana, de temperatura, puedo añadir focos inteligentes, enchufes inteligentes, trae la opción de agregar robot aspirador, y eso es lo importante, controlar todo eso desde una sola app.La calidad de los materiales de la cámara 10 de 10, la calidad de la imagen 10 de 10, el sensor de la cámara es muy buena, con poca luz se ve muy iluminada la imagen, trae visión nocturna con dos tipos de led infrarrojo, un infrarrojo nuestro ojo puede ver el led rojito encendido, pero el otro infrarrojo es inperceptible al ojo. Al video le puedes modificar los FPS hasta un máximo de 30fps… Soporta una micro sd de 512gb para grabación, la grabación puede ser programada solamente cuando detecte movio oooo, puede tener grabación continua sin limite de tiempo, lo que se graba dependerá de la memoria que le pongas, si se llena la memoria te da la opción que en automático se reescriba el video, y lo mejor de la cámara es la Inteligencia Artificial, sabe diferenciar entre animales, carros, personas, tiene seguimiento de objetivo, se puede programar que si detecta una persona y tienes un foco inteligente de la misma marca, cuando detecta la persona puede hacer que en automático prenda el foco, y si hay mas dispositivos compatibles se pueden programar muchas funciones mas.Tiene modo privacidad, que lo que hace es ocultar la cámara.En fin, hay muchas funciones y acciones inteligentes que se le pueden programar.Lo uuuunico que no me gustó tanto es que al moverse los motores internos para girar la cámara se escucha el sonido de los engranes, es lo único que no me gustó, el resto es excelente.Cualquier cámara de la marca te da muy buenas prestaciones, solo que entre mas cara la cámara te brinda mejores prestaciones y mas calidad de imagen.Yo la agarré en oferta, como a $890 y algo, sube y baja el precio aquà en Amazon.Recomendada la marca TP-Link tanto como la cámara Tapo

Me encanta está cámara!! Es muy buena la calidad de la imágen, es de buen tamaño, fácil de instalar, la calidad del audio es aceptable, puedes comprar una memoria SD y agrgarsela para que grabé o puedes usarla sin memoria. El precio es accesible y la calidad de los materiales es muy buena. La aplicación de Tapo es muy fácil de usar y al menos a mi nunca me ha fallado. La vinculación con Alexa funciona bien aunque a veces ahi si se cierra la reproducción. Tengo varias cámaras de este modelo en mi casa y todas han salido super bien.
