My resident at the nursing home broke his screen (same phone) he didn’t have enough money so I’m blessed I came across this to replace his since I work paycheck to paycheck. Works as should, he’s happy! Amen..

Better than a tablet for kids.
I use these cheaper phones for my children as a better option than tablets. They are cheaper and are easier for the kids to store. My kids have had phone and it is still in the best of shape. The storage is adequate, and the battery holds up to the kids playing while on long road trips. The sound quality is great while watching YouTube, or talking on their apps.

Good for price
Not a bad phone for a 9 year old child who only uses it to call important people. It has all itâs functions, but is slow to power up and toggling through apps takes a while as well. Nice look and was able to find a case to it on Amazon as well.

AVOID – Tracfone as a business is non-functional! Can’t buy a plan!
The phone itself seems as you’d expect for a $55 price tag. HOWEVER….In order to activate the phone and get a number you need to pay for one of their no-contract payment plans. The problem then becomes that you cannot actually purchase a plan. The website itself is non-functional and extremely flaky.The website refuses to function in Firefox….ok so I tried a Chromium browser. Ran into issues with a “promo code” for the $5 off coupon of auto-renew. Ok, no auto-renew, “Choose Payment Plan” button will never become available and is permanently greyed out.Trying to troubleshoot the issue you then run into a message of “We cannot process your transaction at this time. Please contact customer support by CALLING 1-800-I-don’t-have-a-phone.”Ok, no phone, can’t call customer support, so let’s try looking for a live-chat or email under “Contact Us” or “Customer Support”.Nope, no way whatsoever for you to contact their customer support department over this issue. Their “Live Chat” section even talks about their available times…..with ZERO link to said “Live Chat” functionality. I guess they removed that pathway but forgot to remove their text blurb about it under “Contact Us”????Anyways, asking new customers to CALL when most people do not have Land-Lines or an additional phone to activate said new phone with is absurd.Tracfone’s business is apparently completely non-functional and burning (or already burned?).AVOID THIS PRODUCT, find someone else!

Great phone at a great price.
Excellent reliable and tough phone at a very good price. I have used several A03s and they have all worked great and they are cheap enough that you don’t have to worry about them. Tracfone also has always worked fine for me as well.

Charging cord
The charging cord sent with product does not have a USB end; both ends are the same as the jack side that plugs into the phone charging port.How in the world are you supposed to be able to charge your phone like that?

I was hesitant to buy this after reading reviews, that it was slow, or that Amazon didnât scan it before sending it, making it not usable. However, that didnât happen and the phone set up was very simple. Great phone for preteens. Tracphone allows a simple $15 a month smart phone plan, which is perfect for a preteen child. Very happy with the phone and my child loves it.
