Great for converting hiking sticks to mobility aides
These are reasonably priced and work great on hiking sticks to effectively ipuse them for a cane replace,ent. The typical tips on canes are made of hard plastic and are thus slippery. These tips fit perfectly and are more rubbery and pliable, meaning when you walk on sidewalks and tile thereâs a much better grip and less chance of slipping. The rounded orb design mean that from most angles you have a consistent feel and grip. Maybe they will wear out before hard plastic, but Iâll take these wearing out faster in exchange for less falling.

A great long-lasting hiking pole tip
This hiking pole tip lasts a long time because it has a lot of rubber at its end. That means that it takes a long time for the metal spike at the end of a hiking pole to cut through all of that rubber (which is what ends the useful life of the hiking pole tip). Highly recommended!

The quality of the tips is absolutely fantastic ease of installation is awesome you just slipped them over the metal tip the performance is great the metal tip doesn’t wear through the rubber at all they’re thick enough to hold it in place there’s no noise when you’re using it to walk and the fit is absolutely perfect so far the performance is good they have not worn through all together great tips

They fit snugly on my Leki poles
They do not come off, fit snugly onto the tips of my poles. So far, after about 20 miles of walking on packed gravel, my fist pair is holding up well. They are sturdy, give a good grip, and are silent.

They fit snugly, but 3X heavier and larger diameter than standard Black Diamond rubber tips
For some reason, it’s hard to find Black Diamond Brand replacement rubber tips these days, so based on reviews, thought I would try these.They fit securely and I like that they have a metal washer inside the tip to help prevent the carbide pole tip from poking through the rubber.That said, they are about 3 times as heavy as the B.D. tip. 30 g vs 10g. And they are also significantly larger in diameter. That may not seem like much, but it’s enough to change the feel of the pole and your swing when you are walking.So far have only tried them on sidewalk and smooth surfaces. Will add further to review after I have had a chance to use them on a variety of terrain. Will be interested to see if the “Knobby” sides catch on roots and rocks or pull off. That’s why I am giving them a 4 out of 5 at this point.

Very durable
I bought a pair of walking poles, which are good quality except for the tips, which wore out quickly. These replacement tips are very durable. They have lasted 10 times longer than the originals. I would note, from on-line videos I watched from PTs, that the proper way to use walking poles is to drag/pull them from behind with each step, not plant them out in front of you (Amazon does not permit posting links or I would). This is important to know relative to the life of the tips–that’s why they are thickest around the edges and not the bottom. I am very happy with the durability of these tips. BTW, you can get extra miles by turning them after a while to rotate the wear spot.

I purchased these as my original pole tips for my Cascade Mountain trekking poles had worn down and needed to be replaced, which as I found can be an issue. Name brand pole tips can be very expensive, and other non name brand ones can sometimes have no shock absorption and bad grip. This was not the case for these. These have fantastic shock absorption and grip, I have even used these on wet rocks. Iâve also put a lot of kilometres on them, and they have only worn down a bit. I will be purchasing these again after they wear out. Price was also very reasonable.In sum:Pros-good grip-good shock absorption-good price-fit most trekking pole brands, like my Cascade Mountain poles-available-acceptable wear speedCons-I would say the stock pole tips are still slightly better
