Good video camera sound quality was a little rough
I ordered the camera for my wedding to video the week and the events of the reception. The order was very timely and when it arrived there was nothing wrong with it or missing. The video quality was decent but the sound was not great. After viewing the recorded videos it was hard to understand the audio at times. It seemed a little gritty or broken more often then not. Overall the price of the camera was right and it did its job for what I had wanted. If the audio can be fixed then it would definitely be a 5 star rating.

Perfect for that Authentic “Home Video” vibe!
Bought this camcorder for the coming holiday season to record the kid’s and our family traditions and what not. That being said, this is spot on! Here’s my breakdown:- the camcorder set up and instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to follow; all the buttons are clearly identified and the camera is compact and easy to use.- sound quality is OK, again if you’regoing for the old home video feel. I would definitely recommend using the included microphone accessories in any setting that screaming children and loud noises aren’t present in.- Battery life is decent, I would just recommend recharging it in advance of any extended uses to be safe.Overall this is exactly what I was hoping for!

Compact Size, Ease of Use
Perfectly suited for my needs! I’ve been considering a podcast or vlogging gig and this camera will fit the bill nicely! The video features are very adaptive to the scenes I want to set up. I’ve been involved in community theatre over the years and would use this to block scenes. I see great potential in using the camcorder for educational purposes also. Very nice unit!

Affordable camera
I needed a second camera because I want to do two camera shoots. I have not used it alot yet but the video quality is great even when I don’t use 4K. In fact I don’t want to use 4K because I can’t edit it in my program. I was able to match the video quality to be equal to my 1000 dollar camera. I don’t need long videos which is a good thing because it is awful on batteries. Now I know why they gave me two. I don’t need good sound since I will use the sound from the wireless mic attached to the main camera. Good thing I don’t depend on this for sound because the sound is horrible. I speak in a normal tone and notice on my editor that the audio is clipping (distortion). I have yet to find a setting that would lower the mic level. My model came with a “professional” mic. I was thinking that might improve the sound. Well it did not which means the problem is somewhere beyond the Microphones. So I recomend this camera to people like me who just need a second camera for 2 camera shoots, or for deaf people. or people who like silent movies. There is a setting to cut the sound off.
