The very first of its kind, this miniature Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube Guy is the perfect desktop companion, tiny marketing tool, or hilarious gift!
Finally, the joyous dancing tube man — who’s been featured everywhere from Ricky Martin’s stage to Broad City — is available in a tiny, desk-friendly size. SPECIFICATIONS: 17-inch waving tube man with fan in base to make him dance, wiggle, and shake just like the real thing (batteries not included) PERFECT GIFT: A hilarious gift for every birthday, white elephant party, or holiday! INCLUDES MINI BOOK: Includes 32-page mini book exploring the larger than life (and utterly surprising!) origins of everyone’s favorite flailing arm man MANY USES: Bring a little bit of joy to your desk, dorm room, or bedside table PLEASE NOTE: This product can be powered by a 9-volt battery or by a specific AC adapter. (Battery nor AC adapter included with purchase.) Please read and follow the instructions included in the box to ensure optimal performance.
If using a battery: A rechargable Ni-MH battery is recommended for best performance and is a more cost-effective alternative to a common Alkaline (single-use) battery. If using an Alkaline battery, it must be NEW. Refer to product information sheet included in box for recommended brands. DO NOT use a Carbon-Zinc battery (often labeled “Heavy-Duty”). This type of battery cannot produce enough power to operate the motor. To get the most life out of the battery, use in intervals no greater than 5 to 10 minutes. Operating in this manner will yield approximately 45 minutes of use. If your tube guy begins to get stuck in a downward position, it is time to replace the battery or recharge if using a rechargeable battery. If using an AC adapter, it must follow the below specifications: Input: AC 100-240V (50-60 Hz) Output: DC 9V (1A or 2A)

Customers say
Customers find the product cute, satisfyingly kitschy, and fun. They mention it’s silly but fun, and may cause delight and bring joy. However, some customers report that it doesn’t work well, doesn’t always work as a desk toy, and doesn’t flail around like they want. They also mention that the fan is not strong enough to keep Mr. Wiggleman up. Additionally, customers say the value for money isn’t worth it.

Fun novelty item.
First off, this was an impulse buy. I thought I’d take it to work and turn it on occasionally to entertain co-workers who ramble by my cubicle. Definitely doesn’t work well with a 9v battery, regardless of the brand.. With a 9v battery, it barely inflates. This is mentioned in the literature, to use a high quality 9v battery. I tried a couple of brand new high quality batteries. It also has an input jack for an external power supply. I tried it with a 9v wall wart, same deal, barely inflates. So, I tried a 12v adapter, and it worked great – spastically dancing and entertaining as all get out.

Make sure you buy the correct adapter.
I bought the wrong adapter and it didn’t work at first. Took a couple days to find MY mistake. Once I got the right part it has worked fine for months now.

Cute
He’s so cute. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they mention it being able to be used with an AC adapter but they don’t include an AC adapter.

I would pay twice the price to have NOT had this User Experience
I received this as a stocking stuffer from my wife… a small gag because of my love of a family guy gag.I open it – it needs a battery – common enough. But can I open the battery compartment with my hands? No! It is sealed with a tiny phillips head screw – too small to get a regular screwdriver into, requiring me to go to my tools to fish out a sufficiently small headed screw driver.I get it opened and go to where I have batteries, careful to hang onto the tiny screwdriver to close it. But does it need a common battery? No – it needs a 9V – the kind that I used to keep around for smoke detectors but now not even smoke detectors use them.So I have to scour the house for a 9V battery, still looking for this to but a smile on my face. I find one and put it in only to discover that in my battery search, I’ve set down the tiny screw driver which I have to find. Now to close it up. Lo and behold the battery compartment is not the type that unlocks but holds the screw… the tiny screw is completely gone.Lastly – my item completely didn’t work. It was getting power because the fan would turn for little bit but there was no waving. This actually wouldn’t get a 1 star review from me though because I understand that sometimes items are just defective or break in transit. What makes me write this is the experience of using this. This is an item that needs to just work with limited user setup – it’s a gag after all. You can’t have users for this chasing down special tools and relatively rarely used batteries. You may say, aren’t these your own problems – I’d argue that these are the results of unforgivable design negligence. There is no way the makers of this product actually walked through the total user experience of using this item (which I remind you is a novelty product with no practical application – not a life saving device) from unboxing to end and decided this was acceptable. Instead of getting a chuckle (the intent of the item), I was absolutely enraged by the time I was ready to flip the power switch – and on Christmas morning.

Itâs ok but not great- doesnt flail well-expect extra cost
This thing is funny but not well done. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner, which doesnât bother me terribly but he doesnât really flail about at all. I used the top of the line (according to chart on item) rayovac fusion batteries so altogether this thing cost me about $15 for the toy and 2 batteries. (It only takes one but 2 pk was better deal). If it was truly a $5 toy it would be worth it but once you add batteries and whatnot itâs a bit underwhelming for the cost. Looks cheap. That being said itâs still funny and my hubby thinks tube guys around town are hilarious so Iâm hoping he will appreciate it. The instructions DO SAY that you canât run it for more than 10 min at a time or the batteries will die super fast. Again thatâs kind of ridiculous. If hubby likes it we may look into rechargeable or the dc adapter bc instructions state the adapter gives the absolute BEST results for the tube man. ð¤·ð¼ââï¸ Overall cool idea and cute as a gag gift I guess, but grossly underwhelming when it comes to the INSANE amount of ârulesâ and extra stuff you need to buy to make it operate properly. A friend of mine tried with cheap battery and it just flopped over to the side and didnât work at all so it MUST be a high power expensive battery or an adapter. As a consumer I would prefer they just charge $15 and include the dang plug in but that may just be me. See video.

A sort if gag gift for my fiance’s 40th. I taped a small “happy 40th birthday” to it’s arms and it just cracks me up. He loves it, too! As suggested, I got the AC adapter instead of using batteries and it runs superbly. Worth the money for the smile it puts on his (and everyone’s) faces.

I bought this for someone who loves the big ones they have in car yards, they absolutely adore it and find it fun sitting on the desk.
