Works perfect for our black Echo Dots, gray Dot didn’t fit
I ordered these on prime day along with several Echo Dots. They arrived the next day along with the gray Dot we ordered. At first I thought we were going to need to return these mounts. The power plug for the gray Dot got stuck half way in trying to put it in this mount. It took a lot of persistance and multiple people to get it back out again without breaking something.I’ve seen other reviews mention these not fitting but they seemed to be for units in other countries. We live in Ohio and the Echo came from a warehouse about 3 miles from our house. I decided to wait to return these until our black Dots arrived, which took another 10 days. I’m glad I did. The bricks for the black dots fit absolutely perfectly. No extra space around the brick but it slides in AND back out again smoothly. The Dot fit into it’s bracket well. There’s plenty of free space around it for the speaker to function. The area in the back for wrapping the cord works great. I can have the entire unit plugged in and up against the wall and it looks sleek, with no extra cord to tape up or have to look at. We have one set up for a plug in our bedroom and one in our kitchen to keep the Dot up off the counter.I’m not sure if the gray unit was manufactured in a different place, or if the bricks are a subtly different size by color? We only ordered one gray that didn’t fit and all 3 black units fit great. If you hold the different bricks together I can’t even visually see the difference but I guess it’s just enough of one to determine if these mounts work or not. I would definitely give these mounts a try. If they work they are awesome. And if they don’t work with your particular Dot, returns are easy.

Love this Alexa holder. Keeps access to the device and looking cleanEasy to install, attaches easily and is a nice compact size. Its easy to move around if needed and is great to use pretty much anywhere.

I bought this to get my Alexa off the kitchen counter. Its pretty big so it stands out but its much better than having it on the counter. The only issue I found was that the Alexa was too heavy and wasn’t flush against the wall so I ended up sticking some velcro to the back and the wall to keep it in place.
