Easy Way To Avoid Disaster
I bought a set of five water leak detectors to go under the fridge, behind the washing machine, under the water heater, and a couple of sinks. It was easy and came with batteries. I feel better knowing the alarm will sound if I have a water leak. Iâd rather spend a little money now to know than to not know, thereâs a leak and destroy my floors. Great product, Iâm going to buy another set to put under the rest of the sinks.

Small, versatile and LOUD water leak detectors
Small and versatile to put in a myriad of areas. So easy to put anywhere! Our plumber suggested getting them. Including 5 water leak detectors worked perfectly! They were placed in our sump pump area, by the water heater, dehumidifier and under two toilet valves in the upstairs bathrooms (we experienced flooding from a ruptured toilet valve!)

Takes the worry out of it
I have used Leak Frogs for years. I live in a very hilly area and it’s not uncommon for people to get leaks in the basement when there’s a lot of rain or for the sewers to back up. :(My leak frogs are now old enough to go to college, and this item had good reviews and was at a better price point. Especially because I need ones for by the sewer line and ones by the downhill side wall of the basement.When it is pouring rain, I cannot explain how nice it is to wake up and go to the top of the basement stairs and hear nothing. I don’t have to go to the basement and check seven different places to see if any water is starting to come in or come up.If water has just started to come in, just a whisper, just a hint of the flood, I have them set up to detect it and they go off. It’s never a joy to hear that water is leaking into the basement. But getting the alarm right as it’s beginning, while you still have time to do something about it. That is priceless.I love these items. They take a weight off my mind and give me security that everything’s okay. They are like my little basement watch dogs.

Loud enough to alert you
I was a bit nervous because the price seemed too good to be true for 5 monitors. But they arrived quickly and performed as described. I bought then after a laundry room overflow dropped into finished basement space. Now I have sensors in laundry, below it, at water heater, and at sump pump. I gave the 5th one to a daughter to monitor her laundry room. Haven’t needed them yet, but I’m happy for the peace of mind that they will alert us if flooding happens.

I like that you get a 5 pack. They are loud so can be heard anywhere in the house.I also bought a 5 pack that would give alerts on my phone, sound an alarm on each detector as well as sound an alarm on a hub. Same brand as my other 5 pack but my other 5 pack doesnât send alerts just sound an alarm.

It works
I put one under each sink. Within a month I heard a beep. I followed it to our kitchen sink where we had a small leak. It worked which is the best thing I can say about it. It came packaged good with good directions. I would highly recommend having these in places where you may have a water leak.

Works GREAT!
We had issues with a drain in our basement in the past. I had a leak detector near that drain, but then recently had an issue with condensation water in our HVAC not going out the drain pipe. It leaked on the floor and went towards another drain, making a mess on the way there.I used a shop vac to try to clean out the drain line to avoid another incident, but also bought this package of leak detectors and placed one next to the HVAC unit. Had no issues for several days but then one evening the leak detector alarm went off. I assumed it was junk and just alerting for no reason. WELL, we did have water again! I ended up cutting into the drain pipe and found a blockage that caused all the problems. Cleaned and repaired and now all is working well. This leak detector saved me a couple hours of clean-up. I put the extra ones behind toilets and under the kitchen sink.

I’ve have purchased leak detectors before, but these are of much better quality. You can adjust the volume of the alarm (so if you have it located in your basement you can still easily hear the alarm signal). They come with batteries that can be replaced (I have had detectors previously that expire and are of no use over time). I hope my leak detectors are never needed, however they are great to have just in case.
