Dominator X: Great gloves with Excellent Padding
I used the regular Dominator gloves for the past 1.5 years and really liked the rubber padding — far superior to gel padding. The fit was skin-tight and the stretchy wrist-wraps conformed to the wrist and lower hand for a custom fit. The only drawback is that their rubber padding inserts started coming loose and some fell out. The new Dominator X gloves sew those rubber inserts into little pouches so they won’t fall out. That increases the amount of padding which is good. Also the fingers are longer so there are extra pads which really help relieve pressure on the upper finger joints. There’s also a pad on the inner thumb. Upper finger joints tend to be overlooked, but there’s a lot of pressure on them every time the weight comes down to your side. The extra finger length, padding and sewn pouches add a little size to the gloves — and they are not skin-tight — so you loose some fine dexterity while gaining more impact protection. I agree with another reviewer that the stretchy wristband has a better custom fit, but the leather wristband isn’t bad and there’s an extra flap to really lock-in the wristband fit. I still use the 1st generation Dominator gloves when working lower body to move plates between machines.

    Serious Weightlifting Gloves
I really like these gloves, the padding is great, the leather is soft and supple, and the styling is beautiful . These high end gloves really standout in the gym. Go ahead, treat yourself, you’ll be glad you did.

Nice quality but not good fit
As a woman with small hands, I hoped these would work for me. Had to return. Well made but too short in the palm for my hands, causing pressure between fingers. Also wrist strap could not ne tightened enough to where I couldn’t just insert my finger between band and wrist. Also, too bulky to get a good grip. Seemed more like a glove to wear on a motorcycle than to work out with weights.

    pretty good
read all the mixed reveiws prior to buying these gloves and decided to get a pair with the forknowledge of what can go wrong with them which is basically the thread coiming undone after a month or more of regular use. First off my hands are a Large because even though my hands are thin they have long fingers so usaully I need a large to accomadate the length but I prefer a snug fit of a medium. I ordered the large but now wish I had got a medium due to the stretch and give of the gloves and the fact that they have open fingers so if you like a snug fit these gloves are a little ample provided you have thinner hands. I have had the gloves a little over a month now and use them twice a week for 2.5 hours at a time lifting weights in the gym. I enjoy the padding but they move around a bit since they are not snug and the wrist support is nice. I also like the handy pull strap on the fingers to get them off easy after they are wet with sweat. just a couple of days ago the stitching on the interior right thumb came apart and I sewed them up myself with heavy duty polyester apolstery thread. I had anticipated this from a couple of reveiws I read prior to purchase. I also took the time when I unwrapped them new to use a lighter and burn all the edges and loose threads to keep them from unraveling since as anyone knows most products are made by machine and unless they are bar tacked the thread can simply come undone as oppossed to doing it by hand where most people will tie a knot at the end to stop that. I will be getting another pair of these medium next time as I still think they are a good purchase compared to others I have tried that cost more and failed tragically.

    Heavy duty
Great for very heavy lifting. Especially where the bar is expected to twist against the palm. Loops make it easy to get on and off. Only gripe is the wrist wrap portion is not long enough or flexible enough to be effective so I still have to wear wrist wraps.

    Well.. like everyone said…
Pretty decent quality, tight fit – run a little small, stylish, extra flap for the wrist is pretty awesome. Are not quite as custom as the old wrist wrap due to being leather however the fingers popped on my first workout. Need to change it up and have double stitching for sure!!!

Longest finger length available and superb quality for home or gym resistance workouts!
This is my 5th pair of gym gloves over the years, and it is the best I have found. I was delighted discovering decent padding provided over all finger contact points, extra long velcro wrist straps, strong glove pull tab, and best of all, unique longer finger coverage. Eventually they will wear out as all gloves will, but from now on I will only purchase these.

good quality thick gloves that is mostly made of soft leather and is very durable-although pricey im sure that in the long run they will work out cheap because these will last a very long time-they are also very comfortable
