It’s a good quality dog food
We’ve been feeding this formula to our dogs for years, after switching brands because they changed the formula and our dogs got sick. Wellness has stayed consistent and our dogs eat it very well. Have not had the nasty smell that some other brands have. It’s a little pricey but worth it to me.

My dogs love this food and the fact that it was available to purchase was great. The thing that didnât make me jump for joy is that it was the same price as some other sellers, and a bit higher than some other sellers. I had high hopes that it would beat the other prices. That being said, now days, itâs not uncommon to see my chosen brand low in stock or even unavailable locally-so again, It was great that it was at least available.

In all honesty, this has been the most noticeably best dog food brand that I have ever given my 7 year old lab/pit mix; and I know that sentence doesnât make much sense but it will soon:My dog had ruptured her ACL tendant when she was 3.5 years old. Since surgery made that leg weaker, stiff, and uncomfortable for her to put all of her weight back on it again, the vet warned me that this was putting her other leg at risk for the same (EXPENSIVE) injury if she didnât stop favoring her other leg while standing.A week after I changed Edithâs good from a big expensive blue brand to Wellness started showing incredible results that even protein supplements Iâve tried in the past couldnât produce! Her bad leg is no longer âbadâ and painful for her anymore- her little limp sometimes comes back only when itâs very cold outside, her coat looks great, and she actually likes Wellness..I had to beg her to eat the other brand she was on prior to Wellness, she had a little limp all the time and was straining her back bc it was painful to put wait on her bad leg…Edith ate only that other brand for ab 2-3 years and it was more expensive than Wellness is- I wish I trusted this brand sooner, and you will be glad you decided to as well. Best dog food ever
We have a lab mix, now 12 years old and doing amazingly well on Wellness Senior. We had a scary experience with another “natural” dog food. After using it for over a year this other brand suddenly made our dog very ill. We did not figure it out right away as he is a lab and will eat ANYTHING. Usually once or twice a year he gets into something that make him ill for a few days. Last time, we did our usual routine of rice and chicken stock. He got better, put him back on the other food, and he got worse again. After another cycle like that, we realized it must be the other food. So we went down tot he local pet shop looking for something better. They recommended Wellness and we have never looked back. After only a week or so on Wellness, Bear’s coat got was noticeably more lustrous. Now, almost two years later we still are amazed by this food. I love the fact that it does not even smell like “dog food”. The ingredients list is totally free of the usual gunk that is in most food. Yeah it is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it. Even his stool does not smell!

he doesn’t run to the bowl to eat it, that’s for sure. it doesn’t have a strong smell but i would have preferred it to have more so he would be drawn to it. basically he just lets it sit around til he’s so hungry and there’s nothing else so he will eat it i guess that’s how he keeps his nice figure.

Wellness is one of the top brands of quality dog food, and this product is no exception. Our senior girl loved it. When Amazon has it listed at a reasonable price, itâs a great deal. However, the price on here is highly variable. I have seen it fluctuate within days from something in the 30s up to the 70s and then back down a few days later. It is also worth noting that this bag is larger than the standard bag that we typically see in stores here in Canada.
