My Pup is Obsessed
I recently picked up the Wellness Soft Puppy Bites in Lamb & Salmon for my picky pup, and I couldn’t be happier! First off, the value is fantasticâthree ounces might not seem like a lot, but these treats are quite concentrated, so a little goes a long way. What really impressed me was how much my dog loves them. She’s usually pretty choosy, but as soon as I opened the bag, she was all in! The combination of real meat and DHA makes me feel good about what I’m giving her, and I love that there are no artificial flavors. They’re soft enough for training sessions, making it easy to reward her without worrying about breaking the treats. Plus, the grain-free formula is a huge bonus for her sensitive stomach. Overall, these treats have become a staple in our training routine, and I highly recommend them to anyone with a picky pup!

Best training treats ever!
We were not entertaining having another dog when Jazz came into our lives, she is definitely treat oriented and we found these Puppy bites to be healthy, yummy, grain free with no artificial flavors and just the right size to carry them in our pocket and reward her throughout the day. She went from just 9 pounds to 60 pounds and has learned to fetch, sit, low crawl, shake and when you say belly bootie she turns over for a belly rub. She loves her treats and at 8 months old is still excited to show off her skills and get her treat!
Dear MR.J –
a rewarding and effective option for training dogs.
I’ve found the Wellness Soft Puppy Bites Healthy Grain-Free Treats to be an excellent choice for training our puppy. These treats quickly became a favorite because of their high-value appeal, which really motivates our pup during training sessions. What stands out to me is their soft texture, making it easy to tear them into smaller pieces for training without our dog having to consume a whole treat each time. Both of our dogs are big fans of this treat, and it’s versatile enough to be given in full or smaller sizes due to its convenient tearable design. The aroma is appealing, and our dogs are clearly excited whenever I reach for this bag. Given its softness and tender quality, it’s ideal for puppies and also works well for larger breeds like our Pitbulls.

Great for training!
Great treats for puppy training. They are soft and break off very easily so you don’t need to use the whole piece. The bag goes a long way if you need it to.

My picky dog finally found a treat she likes!!
I actually bought these in the smaller size because my mom got 2 new rescue puppies and I was going to start training and wanted a soft treat to help me. They loved them so much that i thought I would try hem on my super, pucky chihuahua who only eats 2 flavors in her fancy soft food and has never cared for treats, she also gobbled them right up. So I ordered 2 more big bags of them, one for pups, one for her. Each treat is very soft and they seem to be able to eat them easily, no hardness, while treats are dry they still feel soft and pliable. They seem very fresh and for the money you can’t beat the quality. These treats are probably not good for the balls or puzzle toys, they are too soft for it and would most likely lead to frustrating crumbs for both you and the dog. While the treats are durable they are just a little soft for most puzzle bowls. These are great for hand feeding or just because they want a nice grain free treat that tastes good and looks like a soft miniature sun chip to me. Same color and everything… I am sure I’ll be buying more in the future. Hope this helps you, now buy those babies some treats!! ð

my puppy loves these
My puppy loves these treats. No upset tummy. She nibbles them so gently. They’re soft and chewy. No crumbs everywhere like other treats. So many treats for the price. Great quality product.

excellent training treats
My dog loves them, and they’re nutritionally good. My collie is a bit sensitive to some grains, and these are grain-free. These are soft enough to split in half, to double the number of treats; for a small dog each could be broken into quarters for pea-size treats; this is perfect for training without ruining the dog’s dinner. Also and unfortunately fairly important for us, these are among the least expensive good treats I’ve ever found.

This is our 3rd order of these treats (we buy 5 at a time). Use to reward 11 week old Golden Retriever Puppy for potty outside and it has been very helpful and she has learned very quickly (along with massive praise and excitement when she goes outside). She will come for her treat sit down right in front of me and get her reward – has been great for training. I use this special treat for outside potty training only and when I put her back in her create after going out for bed time – loves her crate for sleeping and making never once yelped or complained since we bought her home at 8 weeks, reinforce it is a good place with a treat at night time after potty (11am, 3:00am) and she gets breakfast at 7am. Just use regular kibble for basic training in the house (a lot cheaper than these treats), for sit, lay down, paw, stay/come. I recommend these as “premium” treats for really important behaviour training.

My Puppy is super picky when it comes to treats, but she loooves these! Sheâs almost 10 months, and Iâve probably spent hundreds on treats trying to see what she likes, and sheâll usually sniff whatever I give her, and then walk away. But these?! She sniffs them, and gobbles them up! Yay! HOWEVER, the price for these on Amazon is almost triple the normal price in stores. I first bought them on Amazon just to see if my puppy would like them, and once I realized that she does, I tried to see if any of my local pet stores have them⦠so far, none of them do unfortunately, but I did find some Canadian online sites that sell them and offer delivery, and theyâre about $5 bucks a pack, which is a huge difference from what I paid for it on Amazon. Just wanted to give a heads up! Also, not all dogs are the same, and not all dogs will have the same reaction to a treat as another dog. The review about someoneâs dog getting diarrhea from these treats – not every dog will have the same reaction to these treats. For example, my dog has not had one negative thing happen to her from these treats, and absolutely loves them. If your puppy is picky like mine, it doesnât hurt to grab a pack of these and just test them out.

In puppy training there are 4 grades of treats.1. RECALL – The very best treat reward … because a recall *must* work to save a nasty incident so tends to be fresh chicken or ham or cheese2. Training – When you want to reward new and good behaviour in the early days3. Standard treats that are there for normal trained behaviours like checking in or mat training4. Low value … dog will often turn his nose up.These fall between the 2-3 level. Puppy likes them and will work for them but soon becomes bored
