Exceptional Value and Versatility with Wyze Cam Pan
I recently installed these cameras throughout my home and they exceed my expectation in every way. Installation was a breeze and included all components needed to mount on a wall or a book shelf within my home. The quality of the images coming through on the phone app is amazing and the ability to speak 2 way through the camera is a great feature. I also like the feature of being able to auto tract movement and have the camera follow anyone walking by or just moving the cameras manually with their phone app UI. Best part is the price is so affordable compared to many other brands that are out there providing the same features. The Wyze cam pan isa top tier product that offers outstanding performance and versatility. It’s high-definition video quality, responsive motion detection, and ease of use make it a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a reliable and affordable home security.

Affordable and Reliable Indoor Securty Camera
The WYZE Cam Pan v3 is a great value for home security. It offers clear video, smooth panning, and effective night vision. The app is easy to use and provides instant notifications for its low monthly fee. Definitely make sure you check the full pan and tilt of the axis before mounting it in order to ensure the best coverage of your space. Also take note if you place this near anything that moves frequently such as a TV or branches blowing outside as the camera will be drawn to this at times. Overall, by far the best value for both indoor and outdoor applications with great image quality.

Amazing features and performance
I’m still amazed at the features and performance of these cameras for the price we paid. All of the features have yet to be tested. We’re currently using them at my Dad’s house so he can stay in his home alone. At 95 years old, it’s important that we understand that Dad is safe and sound. One of the most valuable features is the motion tracking feature which follows motion around the room, which works really well. This can be a not-so-great feature when it locks onto an operating ceiling fan. There may be an adjustment to avoid this but I haven’t found it yet. At times, Dad has difficulty operating his phone. This is when it’s especially helpful to use the camera’s two-way audio feature. This works quite well as long as the TV volume isn’t too high. It was also super-easy to share remote access to these cameras with my sister who also monitors Dad’s safety. Overall, we’re absolutely delighted with the comfort and safety that these cameras provide for us.

Nice for the price
Been looking for a camera to use for security/piece of mind at the house. There is a free App that you can use to access the camera remotely. The camera does not need to be on wifi or wifi access to operate but you will not be able to remotely access live feed or the sd card remotely without it. The image quality is real nice in the day time. Night time total darkness is good but not as defined (It does get a bit better if there are lights that come on or enter the field of view. Pan/scan feature adds more coverage allowing set points to be picked and then scanned. There is a motion tracking ability that is nice. With Pan Scan off you can create a custom “detection zone” and the camera will just focus on that area. The memory card is capable of a constant record (sound to if turned on) for several days worth of data. Depending on where you mount the camera you can access the sd card by manually removing it or remotely if you have it connected to wifi. If you choose to pay for subscription access you get other features of which I can not vouch for as I do not pay for the services. The camera will still send you notifications of motion depending on your preferences in the app. You will be able review the events that you are notified about as well as access the sd card and to go back and watch other footage.
Now for the part I think all should be aware of. I have the camera set to constantly record. When the camera notifies you of motion/event it will show it on the camera timeline. but then the camera has a little 4-5min cool down were it will not notify you if there is additional motion. The camera is super sensitive, so when its raining and or windy and trees/bushes, bird, bugs or even shadows trip the sensor and you get notification you may see nothing. Then if a person comes up to the house in that 4-5 min window cool down you will not get notification of new motion. Example my camera faces the driveway/front door, when a bird flies by and sets the motion detection off I get a notice but see nothing on camera after no more motion (the bird just flew by) and in that cool down period the postal employee pulls into my driveway gets to the door drops off a package then gets back down the drive way before the cool down period is over there is no notice given. This does happen often.
Another example would be getting notification of motion I check the cameras nothing (I am expecting someone to coming). Then the person arrives in the 4-5min cool down they wait in there car and there is no new motion. I get no notification of their arrival. Once they exit the vehicle the camera will pick up motion and I will get a new notification.
Not every ones location or camera needs are the same. The sensitivity of the camera is adjustable as well as the set detection zone. I have found it best for my use to set the day time to pan scan the entire 180 degrees of the field of view for max coverage and then to change the setting to a detection zone that limits the monitored/covered area at night with different sensitivity level. This seems to give me less notifications from trees/shadows and truly let me know about vehicles and people. I have been told by waze that the paid portion/subscription will allow more control/different aspects of detection and monitoring. I have chosen to not pay for anymore as I have the camera/app and use the camera this way and it works for me. Will it work for you? Give it a shot and try it out.

Exceptional Value and Performance!
Iâve been using the WYZE Cam Pan v3 for about a month now, and I couldnât be happier with my decision to switch. I replaced all my previous cameras at home and at my business, including my Ring cameras, and the performance of these WYZE cameras has been impressive!
The video quality is excellent, providing clear 1080p HD footage both indoors and outdoors. The pan, tilt, and zoom features are incredibly useful, allowing me to cover a wider area with just one camera. The setup was quick and straightforward, and I appreciate the user-friendly app that makes monitoring easy from anywhere. The night vision feature works great, ensuring I can see whatâs happening even in low-light conditions.
One important lesson I learned is to invest in high-speed recording micro SD cards. Initially, I tried using some cheaper options, but they didnât meet the performance needs of the cameras. Once I upgraded to better cards, everything worked seamlessly, allowing for reliable recording and playback.
However, I did want to note that the Wyze Lamp Sockets do not work with the V3 Pan version. Itâs something to keep in mind if you’re planning to integrate them into your setup.
Overall, I highly recommend the WYZE Cam Pan v3 for anyone looking for an affordable yet effective security camera solution. The quality, features, and ease of use make it a fantastic value, and Iâm thrilled with the peace of mind it provides for both my home and business!

I bought this item 1 month ago.
It was easy to install and the mount is nicely designed.
The setup with the app is super easy, just scan the QR code and follow the steps.
I use it at the cottage and mounted it at the peak of my roof so I can have a panoramic view whenever I want to see what is going on. It has worked flawlessly for a month now and the night vision is good, the resolution is good and I have no downside.
When the power goes out, the camera will start up easily once power returns with no interventions.
Great purchase and great value.

Resumen 2024.01.01: Excelente camara con funciones varias sin pagar.
Compre 2 camaras (para empezar). Me interesaba el “360”.
Las camaras vienen bien protegidas. Trae camara, cable, cuadro de energia (5V 2A), manual, chilillos de montaje, base para montar en pared/techo.
De inicio cuando las conectas se mueven, bajas la aplicacion y fueron faciles de instalar y usarlas. Por defecto tiene activado el “Track Motion”. Le puse una memoria de 64GB. La app es facil de usar y entender. La camara se ve de buen material, se ve bien hecha y resistente.
La calidad de grabacion es decentemente buena, puedes cambiar a 360 o 720.
Los movimientos al girar la camara son suaves, puedes ver las grabaciones facilmente, acceder a ella rapidamente, grabar videos o fotos, puedes darle zoom, poner zonas de grabacion, configurar horarios, eventos, soporta IFTTT, eventos por geolocalizacion (al parecer solo USA y Canada) y otras. Las funciones avanzadas las desconozco, ya que son de paga y basicamente son: guardar en la.nube, sensores de reconocimiento avanzado, acceder por la pagina web de Wyze y otras que no.recuerdo.
Las voy a poner en el exterior y te sugieren (obligado) comprar un adaptador para exterior. Si tienes conocimientos basicos puedes hacer tu propia “caja” para poner el cuadro de energia cerca de la camara.
Finalmente, soportan el protocolo RTSP, el cual te permite usarlo con aplicaciones de 3ros, NVR y/o Home Assistant, incluso como camara web. Solo que lei que aun no sale.un firmware para este modelo, seguire leyendo e investigando.

Ambas configuradas de la misma manera (HD, grabacion continua, sonido, eventos, vision nocturna).
Supongo la diferencia principal es que con luz graba a 20FPS, y en modo nocturno graba a 15FPS, asi que la interior casi siempre tiene menos luz.
