Is this the future of gaming?
I bought the Xreal Air 2s mostly for gaming. I figured I would use them when I play to have a giant screen like the ads say. Well, just like the ads, the giant screen is super bright and clear. Depending on where Iâm looking, it looks like playing on my TV or my PC monitor. I got the adapter so itâs really easy to with play my Xbox Series X with the Air 2s. Getting rid of wires someday will be completely revolutionary, but even with the wires today, itâs still a total game-changer. I feel like I donât have to be hunched over my controller staring at the TV. Laying back on the couch and projecting the screen on the ceiling is super comfortable. Going from Xbox on the TV to on my phone was sweet and really easy because the glasses plug right into my phone. I have a One Plus 10 and got Game Pass on the phone. I use the Xbox controller with Bluetooth and thatâs that. That direct plug in is so sweet. This will change how I play on planes I know it. I havenât tried Xreal with Switch yet but thatâll be next.I like that these fit good on my head. I donât have a small head by any means so once I got the right nose pads and then got the right adjustment on the arms, the fit is perfect for me. Getting the right fit made the image crystal clear, too. Thatâs an important part, I had to find the right fit and then it was a clean and crisp picture. The speakers are pretty good, too! I use my ear buds most of the time, but testing the sound on its own, its good to know the speakers on the glasses totally hold up. Itâs helpful when Iâm wearing them around work for my ears to stay open so thatâs cool.I bought them for gaming and thatâs pretty perfect. But Iâm using them for background media a ton, like watching TV or movies when Iâm doing things at home (and sometimes at work!). The easy connection with my phone is clutch. The bright screen anywhere I look is just what I wanted. I like how the carrying case protects the glasses, but the case itself might be too big for my pockets, but real easy for a backpack. Finding the right fit made it so much better. Itâs a recommendation from me. Iâm liking them and I and hope you will, too.

Super comfortable, bright screen, easy to use.
I love these! Iâve had several âVR Glassesâ over the years and these are by far the best and the ones I use – and will continue to use – instead of the others. Super easy to get started right out of the box.Love how they feel, very comfortable on my face, especially with the alternative/flexible nosepieces that they come with, as well as the fact that they’re very lightweight. Also, I have deepset eyes, so itâs great that the nosepiece can be adjusted to bring the glasses closer to my face. All this makes them easy to wear on your face for long periods of time, which is kind of the point, right?I really love the fact that I can stream movies & videos or do work without the stress on my neck and lower back, which I have a lot of problems with, no matter how ergonomic I make my computer setup. I love being able to lie down and use. I used to have a home cinema set up when I had a larger apartment but am now in a small studio without space for it, so this is a great alternative to that – for one person, anyway. It would be great if there was a splitter cable that would allow me to watch with someone else who has the glasses! That said, using by myself also has the added benefit of keeping others from seeing what you’re watching or doing. Ideal if youâre a public transportation commuter or like to work in cafes and have a lot of stuff you want to keep private. The screen itself is bright (and adjustable), clear, and readable, even though my vision is not 20/20. Despite my minor vision problem, the brightness of the screen makes it easy to see everything with only minor blurriness. Still, Iâm going to go ahead and get prescription lenses for the insert frame provided by XReal in the package. It would be great if you could just focus the screen on the device, but that would require way more complex optics/lenses and controls, which would only make it a lot more expensive, heavier, and less comfortable (which would defeat the purpose. And youâd have to have separate adjustments for each eye for those with astigmatism, etc. So the prescription insert is the ideal solution.)All in all, these are great glasses and Iâm having a lot of fun using them with my phone and my laptop.

Good but 100% needs
Overall, it is working pretty good mirroring devices with very bright AR display. Depending on the light that you use on it will need the shade cover but for indoor I do not need to using the cover at all.My eyesight is not that bad, but I do have glasses to wear when I need to see far away and 100% I will need to get perfection glasses lens for the AR since texts are blurry. When I try to wear glasses inside the AR glass, which is a bit hard but I can tell the display quality is really really high.So if youâre deciding to purchase just to watch movies and things I donât think it is needed but if you plan to connect to a computer or to be able to read words, I would recommend to consider spending additional $150 to get your perfection lens ordered.

The XREAL Air 2 AR Glasses feel like an unfinished product, requiring significant work to be usable. They are one of my biggest disappointments among all the tech gadgets Iâve purchased. There are too many misleading videos about these glasses on the internet. Ultimately, I had to return them.

I have the first version of these glasses. The XREAL ones. They are pretty good and the screen is big, colorful and about 120″ at 10 feet.I bought the second version, the XREAL because they advertise it as 300 inch. (Well… sometimes it says 120 inches, other times, 300 Inches in their ads; pretty confusing.)The fact is: it’s pretty much the same as my first version (Nreal).About the sound, it’s definitely better, but not by much. So, if you already have the first version, don’t buy these. Wait for the 3rd version that will be out pretty soon if you can afford them. (And they should finally be real AR glasses)For those who don’t have any, these ones are a good choice. But if you are on a low budget, I suggest you buy the first version (Nreal). They are quite the same, but at a better cost.ð

I expected the quality to be really good of what you see. Some reviews online even said its good enough for working and readin text but that is not the case. It can really only be used to watch videos and even then the software does not seem to be the best.

It’s decent, really it is but… my cord to plug it in, crackles and I believe for the 360 inch screen to work , you need the extra pricey beam unit. I meant extra , and pricey but extra pricey works too! I would like to try a new cord but will let you know how customer service is when I ask for that!
