In a word: Impressive
I am an avid collector of retro handheld game consoles, so I have an above-average understanding of such devices. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from something at this price point. After fifteen minutes of playing games on the XU10, however, I was simply amazed at how great this machine is relative to its cost. It emulates a good number of systems, and it performs remarkably well…even on the Dreamcast titles.The screen is exceptionally sharp for a sub-$100 device. The controls and buttons are also better than I expected. I just can’t find much to complain about, especially when factoring in the relatively low cost for this gaming rig. If you’re looking for a great retro console and don’t want to spend a bundle, the XU10 has my unqualified approval.

Doesn’t work requires new operating system on new micro SD card for it to work
I found out since I first tried it out of box that it took forever to boot up I tried everything to fix it and since I look up on the Internet on how it says that in order to make it work you need a new micro SD card with a new operating system and most devices like these require a os such as Linux for it to work then you have to put all your roms from the PC or phone in to the micro SD card which I don’t use a PC for that because of viruses and I don’t have time for all that it also requires a micro SD card reader to USB a cable on PC or one for phone if they exist to be able to move everything into the micro SD card for set up requirement is actually a lot better on at least 128 GB for literally any ROM or ISO file for anything emulated otherwise good luck trying to make it work that is all I know sadly I can’t explain everything that I just researched there are things I don’t know how either if you ever experienced the same issue I had this is all I can tell you don’t use the micro SD card that was manufactured sometimes it won’t boot up properly and that is why I rated 1 star because of an example like this that will possibly happen when you got it out of the box personally unless I have enough money to spend on a micro SD card reader for my phone and do all that work since I don’t like to use my PC for it anymore then I can’t afford it lastly do alot of research at least better then me though and I hope you can make the most for your device without it being unusable since there’s nothing else that can be done but to try to figure it out how to fix it or luckily your money back

Good value for the money
For what I paid for the device, I believe it is worth the money. While no device is perfect for the casual gamer this would be close to it. I myself am more than the casual gamer. I gave this 4 out of 5 for lack of customization. That is on the software side and while that won’t matter to most people, I would have like the device to be a little more “open”. Other than that if you want to get into retro gaming or if you already are a hobbyist, then pick up this device and give it a try.

This is a great handheld. The more I play around with it, the more I realize how good it is. The firmware on this thing is good and easy to learn and understand. This unit has 36 game systems on it, plus “open bor” and listed by itself “TMNT Shredders Revenge” it’s in a foreign language but 100% playable. There are over 10,000 games total on this. The screen looks good and is nice and vibrant. The sound quality is good for only having one speaker. The d-pad is great. All of the other buttons also work well. This thing is very straightforward to use. There is a “G” button on the side that brings up a menu to do whatever you want. From the main menu, it brings up the shutdown menu, and while in game, it brings up all of the options you may need for that game, such as save, load, or even to switch emulators. If you find a game where the “G” button does not work properly, you just need to switch the emulator core. All of the games I tried worked as well as I would expect. I did switch n64 emulator core for better performance. Psp plays pretty decent. Ridge Racer on psp plays pretty good. This is a well-made device and feels solid in hand. The battery life is also good. There are no weird charging flaws like some systems. Just use a 5v 1amp charging block, and you will be good to go. I could go on and on, but I am done. This game system is a good value for what you get!
