Awesome
These are awesome. They look like actual flames and they mimic flame action. They’re not extremely bright, but they’re not dull either. They make our front porch look amazing. I would highly recommend them if you’re wanting something that’s different and out of the ordinary. We have been using them for about a month now, and they seem to be going strong. They are outside, so they are durable and we’ve had some pretty bad weather, they’ve held up really well. I’d say they are excellent the money we paid for them.

Looks realistic (unlike some others), but not bright enough for a porch light.
I got it for use on our front pathway, and our porch light. It looks great on our pathway and appears to be reliably bright, however, we do have a street light nearby so it may be influencing that perception. For as bright as the pathway light looks, in comparison having the other light at my porch, it did not seem nearly as bright and was not sufficient to keep as a porch light for safety reasons. Maybe it was just that bulb, I donât know I didnât try to swap the two for comparison.Regardless, I am very happy keeping the path light – it looks pretty cool like an old lantern is sitting out in the middle of my yard.For the porch, I guess I prefer to have a yellow light by the entrance anyway to ensure a good solid, consistent light, where there are steps.I think these are good buy if you want the look.Iâm sure this is great for Halloween, but Iâll be keeping this out there year-round.

These are not exactly as they appear on the box, but still very cool.
3 second video wonât upload, but as you can see in the photo this is a white plastic bulb. Not very cool. However, it doesnât look pretty cool when itâs lit up. It kind of has a rolling effect that mimics a flame. It is not glass, and it is not clear, so there are no defined flames. Honestly, still worth it. Iâll just use it as a side effect lighting and not the centerpiece.

These lights are the perfect alternative if you’re looking for a muted ambience. They give off just enough light to see the walkway instead of a glaring white light. They offer a glow more than a light. They flicker like a flame. Looking forward to seeing how they look when it snows.

Love these lights!
Perfect for Halloween/October. I have them connected to my garage and front lights that are on dusk to dawn sensors and they work perfectly! I like that they can be flipped up or down and work both ways and that the pattern changes to your preference. I prefer the traditional flame and not pulsing, etc. for this time of year. Adds a spooky but simple look for this time of year, absolutely love them, highly recommended.

Lower your expectations
The graphics show clearly defined flames. These bulbs do not do this. The resolution of the “image” is much, much coarser and only give the indication of flame. If you’re expecting to put this your front porch light for Halloween for a flame effect, it wont look good close up. It’s fine if you want to illuminate a corner or the drapes or put inside of something.

Nice and spooky!
These are the perfect add-on to my spooky front yard. They’re cool year-round long because they look like a flame. It’s a nice way to add light to the driveway, but not too bright.
