Reliable and effective
Very easy to setup. The sensors work immediately after connecting them without issue and can detect the water instantly. Device makes an alarm sound and can email you or send an SMS when water is detected. You are limited to 15 SMS notifications per month unless you pay more. However, that’s generally more than enough you need. The signal range to the hub from the sensors is pretty good and has no issue in a 4000 sq ft house. A very good item for relatively cheap that could save you thousands.

Wow! Works well with reliable text, email and app notifications. Plug and Play functionality if Hub is connected directly to the router’s ethernet’s port. Note: There is a 30 limit per month text notification which is more than a homeowner will ever need. If you need more text notifications than 30 per month, you should consider getting a boat for your constant house leaks., Otherwise YoLink offers a subscription to raise the text notification limit of 30 per month to unlimited. But a subscription for the average homeowner is unnecessary. Product documents are plastered with contact info for 24-hour tech support as well as a phone number. Manual directions are written in plain American English. A great value. Love this product!

Peace of mind
We have notoriously bad luck with water incidents at our new home. We had 2 separate occasions where water leaked through the ceiling from an A/C drip pan overflowing. We also had an issue with a slab leak in the kitchen. You would think after those incidents I would’ve invested in water sensors….but no. It wasn’t until I woke up on Christmas morning to my entire house being flooded in 3″ of water that made me finally come to my senses and order water leak sensors. For the Xmas incident, the water inlet valve under my kitchen sink came loose overnight and managed to flood the entire house in a matter of 5 hours. Had I had a leak sensor under the sink, Christmas wouldn’t have been ruined and my house wouldn’t have had thousands of dollars in water damage.So now I have water sensors on anything that has the potential to leak water. All the sinks (kitchen, bathroom, laundry room), all the AC drip pans, the water heater, the toilets, the washer and even the fridge and dishwasher. The Yolink system is incredibly easy to install. It took me about 20 minutes to pair all the sensors with the main hub and do the wet checks on them as well. I recommend labeling each sensor with its location (i.e. kitchen sink) that way you don’t get confused on what goes where (if you’re pairing a bunch of them). The app works great and you can set up a room, then the sensors that will be in that room. You can also favorite a sensor or sensors so that they show up on your dashboard on the app, allowing you to monitor the sensor for battery life or activity. You can also sign up for email and text notification if a leak is detected. Additionally, these make a very noticeable audible noise that can also be modified for duration and alert intervals. The app also keeps history logs of any incidents that the sensors experienced. Lastly, the range on these is amazing. I haven’t had any issues with these being out of range (even in the attic) or going offline.To test each of these, I paired them all then set them on a wet paper towel. They immediately made a high pitched beep and send a corresponding email and text. To test the top sensors, I just used a dropper and put a drop of water on the top which yielded the same results.If you are a homeowner I cannot recommend these enough. In hindsight, I wish I would have installed these everywhere to avoid heartache, stress and thousands spent in repair.

Solid Product that Perform but You Can’t Change the Battery
This is a well made product that really perform. I did a small leak test and the results were fast and successful. The Apps is okay as it has all the necessary information. The wireless access is strong. My only issue is you can’t change the battery. Supposedly, the battery last 5 years. We’ll see.I do recommend this product to others.

Everyone should have these!
As an insurance agent, I recommend these to everyone! They can save you thousands! Iâve seen them save people tens of thousands of dollars. We have them under sinks, toilets, the water heater, and fridges. We installed them immediately in our new home and they already caught a slow leak behind the fridge. A lot of insurance carriers are giving discounts for having these. The app was easy to install, just follow the directions. Iâll definitely be recommending this brand to my clients (Iâm an insurance agent). Iâma huge advocate for having these in every home!

Directly Connect To Router For Easy Installation
I have to be honest, I almost returned this because it wouldnât connect via my WiFi. I looked through some of the reviews and read someone had the same issue until they connected directly to their router. Once I did that it was so easy to setup and install each sensor. I tested them and each one works perfectly. An added piece of mind was that I was able to link them all to my Alexa App (the company has easy to follow YouTube videos). If any sensor detects water – an announcement will be made on all my Echo devices throughout my home indicating which sensor has detected water. Incredible!!

I just bought them the hub with 4 sensors and an extra 3 without the hub. They are all connected I used Ethernet connection to wifi on second floor. Hub covers right to main floor and furnace room and main shutoff in basement. I cannot say how long the battery lasts as just purchased. My friend had one and he to,d me 3 years and still hasn’t changed battery. No false alarms so far. I’m happy with product. Seems made of good quality.
