Brand New Book Arrived in Great Condition
I was worried about getting a used book after reading many of the reviews, but the price was so much better than buying directly from the company that I took a chance and Iâm glad I did. My book was fine.This book follows the program of Dr. A with OPTAvia. Iâve been on the â5 and 1 Activeâ and just completed by first four weeks. Iâm down 16 pounds. As for the book? Itâs meant to be done in a years time, and you could work on each element at the slow pace of a week or two. I actually spent all this first month just working on the introductory pages, but I like the journaling aspect and am looking forward to the upcoming units.The earlier chapters help you figure out your current life, why you want to do this, how to optimize your surroundings as well as help with âthe planâ with OPTAvia – things like eating every 3 hours, eating healthy beyond the âfuelingsâ you get from them, tracking it now and beyond.The last half of the book focuses on âTransitioningâ once youâve attained your healthy weight with the program. My coach (which comes with the plan) suggested I could jump ahead to chapters that interested me particularly: like dealing with addictive food, exercise, sleep, anti-inflammatories, supplements, emotions and more. There is an âelementâ (chapter/unit) for each of these topics.Though Iâm just starting the book, it does seem to be worth having. I recommend it.

This book was bigger than I expected. I loved that most words were in large print and the fonts were easy on the eyes. Looks like it will take a long time to complete.The problem I have is that I ordered this as a new book. The book was not new. There was writing in the first chapter and the bottom right corner pages are bent. I am returning the book and will try to order somewhere else so i can get it new. The plus side is that the seller was prompt and I got the book 1 day early.

Easy read, larger print
Love that this is in larger print so easier to read. The adhesive used doesnât work well but able to keep it together, still sticky just pulls off.
