Ok, I have 2 remarks for this. If you’re wearing it for protection – as in, it’s early morning or late at night and you want cars to see you so they don’t hit you, then this gets 5 stars. If you’re walking the dog & need to clean up after him, no problem, this light is perfect. If you’re coming home late at night and need to see the keyhole to the front door, it’s perfect.Now, if you’re wearing this to see the road ahead of you, then this gets between 4 & 4.5 stars as it’ll only light up a few feet on the ground in front, so if there’s a bear like 10 feet away, you’re a goner.I got 2 of these to wear while vacationing in the mountains. It has helped me lock gates in the dark, find my way down a dark path and helped me not to trip on a rock or slip on ice. I can carry wood from outside without needing a hand free to hold a flashlight. I’m not scared of the boogeyman when I have to get something out of the car in the pitch dark driveway. I also have to mention it has kept my head lovely & warm. One of the hats seems to be brighter than the other. Charging is easy, but you have to have a USB outlet (or adapter). I don’t know how to tell if it’s fully charged as I didn’t see a charge indicator on it. I keep one in the car and have worn the other almost every night.Overall, I’m happy I bought these as they really came in handy and I would gladly recommend them. These would make a great gift for a man or woman.
